Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

I am aware of them too. I just wouldn't dream of posting it here. The theories you posted are very much book related since the show makes no real mention of clues to hint it.
Exactly. People have been hinting at that theory for a while with no real evidence from the TV show. Pisses me off it does, wish I could resist coming in this thread as the usual suspects can't help themselves.

That's why they're in spoiler tags...no one can bitch about reading a potential spoiler that I've put in a spoiler tag. If someone reads it, then it's their fault. Also the show has given little Easter eggs about said theory.

It's fine. But I would have appreciated it if your Spoiler tag mentioned that it was related to a theory. Since you said 'Speculation', I just assumed it was your own speculation about a future episode.
Now about those Easter eggs... :D

You can't moan about the spoilers in a thread when you know have opened the thread knowing there might be spoilers. It's your own fault. There's nothing wrong with me putting speculation in a spoiler tag.

Next episode's promo:

Was pretty rubbish wasn't it ? Is this some HBO stunt where they want us to think nothing would happen or is the next episode really more filler ?

I can moan. You are not allowed to read up on theories that only use the books as evidence and then post them as speculation in here. I have opened the thread expecting the likes of you not be posting this shit but that's expecting to much.

Jon Snow was braindead for several hours. After that amount of time, many of his cells would have been starved of oxygen and died.

His resurrection should have have seen him significantly brain damaged.

Am I the only one disappointed he's not a vegetable?

I didn't look up anything. I put it in a spoiler tag, and if you can't have the will power to resist opening a spoiler tag that clearly tells you it contains potential spoilers then that's your problem and not mine. I can post it here as well because it literally says at the top ALL SPECULATION MUST GO IN SPOILER TAGS. Given that it has not happened, it's speculation. Stop bitching about something that is entirely your fault. You opened it, not me.

He also still has several large holes in his chest. Should have died again almost immediately. This show has become so unrealistic....

I think so. Most of us understand 'because magic.'

Pretty much. Most episodes are primarily fillers nowadays anyway because they have far too many story lines that need some screen time. I really do think they should have made more episodes per season. They should speed up the King's Landing stuff up, I feel like they could have done most of the stuff they have done so far in the season in less than 20 minutes. Same with the Dany stuff.

You have already admitted you know the ' theories ', so you either did look it up or stumbled upon it by accident. How is it bitching? If I click on a speculation tab I expect it to be speculation based on the TV show and that is all. How can you not get that through your head?

There's a difference between healing a wound and 'restarting' a dead brain cell.

Wounds can be healed according to natural biological function. A brain cell, on the hand, forms connections according to how it's been used over the course of a human's lifetime. Once it gets starved of oxygen, those connections disappear. It's a very different thing to resurrect, as compared to a simple cell. I'm not buying it.

Jon Snow should have come back severely mentally disabled.

It's speculation ABOUT the game of thrones show, doesn't matter what it is based on. Speculation is speculation, and I followed the rules of putting it in a spoiler tag. Don't tell me what I can and cannot put in a spoiler tag or what I am or am not allowed to post on this thread.

Quite enjoying the Scroogesque Bran story, young Ned's Sheffield accent is bang-on too. Bored of the karate kid story but seems like she's finished the danielson training at least. Glad Jon's fecked off from the wall at last.

Of course it matters what it is based on. If I think you are ruining for me then I'll tell you whatever the feck I want.

I ruined nothing for you. You opened the spoiler that explicitly said it has spoilers in it. No one asked you to open it. You ruined it for yourself, get over it.

Sarcasm should be banned from this thread tbh, it isn't policed enough.

This season has been an improvement so far on the shocking last season, but that episode was kinda dull, anything that goes on across the sea + the capital is just a big dreary snoozefest.

Luckily there wasn't much of Daenerys, can't wait for her to begin her journey to the west all over again...

I still feel a bit underwhelmed with the whole Jon resurrection thing. It just seemed... too simple. I am glad he is back, but they could have made it a better story. It might improve though.

Why would you want more episodes if you feel many are already fillers ?

I actually like where KL is going. I didn't like this episode. But you can see the Faith guy and Cersei both trying to brainwash Tommen to be on their side. He's already shown all signs of being the important deciding factor in the war of the Lannisters against Dorne against The Faith. I am not sure who the Dornish will align with or if they will fight on their own, but Kings Landing will not be in very good shape by the end of the season is my reckoning. Great news for Snow though.

Dany's story has been straightforward. You know there is a Hero moment coming by Episode 7-8 while the others clean up Mereen and await her arrival with the massive Dothraki army.

What a rubbish episode. So much of it was just filler. What was the point of the whole Tyrion scene?? "What shall we talk about?". fecking hell that was awful, it felt like it dragged on for an hour as well.

The tower of joy flash back was great and also the ending, we finally see Oli get what he deserved. Everything else was pretty much garbage.

By making him slur his words and struggle to walk.

IMHO D&D didn't know what to have them talk about so they had them talk about trying to figure out what to talk about.

don't go any futher if you don't want to read what I am about to say
Yeah, she will need some "epic" mother of dragons moment to get the Dothraki to back her it seems. None of them seem all that impressed with her they seem more than happy to let her live out her life with the widows. If it is just her being rescued by Daario and Jorah, then it is hard to see how she ends up with the Dothraki supporting her. The Dragons have to be involved to get the Dothraki behind her.
just my opinion of course

That would be awesome to be honest. But I feel that's been done before somewhere else. At Astapor was it ?

Danny's Fat, feck me she looks like she's pregnant or something, very plumpy
Jon's badass mother fecker! I thought he's going to get soft for a moment there
Rickon's... I almost forgot he exists, I pity the shaggy dog more :(
Arya, hopefully she goes to become a BAMF assassin creed assassin!

And they gonna made Marjorie walk the walk of shame? Hoo yaaaa! (don't blame me, it's on the Episode 4 teaser) Make it happen Cersei! Let the cock rages on!

Overall they have too many loose knots they can't tie up, the shows looks broken with bits and pieces making things looks pretty much boring as no one has enough screen time to make things matters. With 6 episodes left they surely won't have enough time to fully dwelve into each major storyline, I just hope they converge somewhere and lessen the too many arcs

Remember how Cersei said her fate was to be decided by a Trial By Combat ? Now remember, Arya being specifically questioned about the Hound's death and his character been given more importance than Cersei, Walder Frey ? Piece those two together. Could we see a Mountain vs Hound combat ? Dead vs Dead ??

Just thought of another way this could be dealt with. That constant questioning by that unlikeable lady about the Hound might also indicate how Arya feels about him and whether she is ready to assume his identity. If she is and once her training is complete, she might assume the identity of the Hound (I don't know if this face swapping thing only works with Alive people or not tbh) and go after Frey, Cersei, The Mountain.

That episode was boring as feck but it looks like things should ramp up soon. Things are (very) slowly coming to a head in many of the storylines.

I have low hopes for this season by the looks of things, it looks bleak, it's not written by GRR martin no more?

They have too little time too many arcs, it's really like watching an incoherent slides. Ideally this should last for another 4-5 seasons where they'll have enough time to slowly built everything up, but feck me the 1 year wait per season is killing me
