Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Christ you still don't get it do you? People read this thread with the expectation that people posting in it have a certain level of knowledge as proscribed by the rules. Anyone who posts in here with information explicitly forbidden by said rules is a cnut. Not only because of the spoiler aspect but because the people who read this thread and follow the rules have to constantly worry about stuff being spoiled.

As I've started to read the books, I won't be posting in here anymore. As the rules say. They aren't complicated. Now feck off and stop tagging me.
Christ, you cant take a joke can you?!

Now get out of here you filthy book reader.

So what will happened in the end? Will dragons rule the world? Are white walkers humans or are they dancer? Will summer come to all parts of the GoT world? Why do I even care? Does anyone actually truly give a feck as long as there are some titties on show?

Questions.

Everyone's dead. No, they're dead. They're dead. The winter will die out. Something to do before you die. Even the tits will decompose.

Yeah let's be nihilistic about this, you're right they're all going to die regardless, so why does anyone care? Why can't someone post spoilers on how the shit actually goes down...

You just know that for the final page of the last book GRRM will just write "Then there was a big fight and everyone in the world died except for Arya, whose head spontaneously exploded two days later. End."

Nah she survives, as the first and last virgin in the GoT universe. I'm sure there's something deeply philosophical in that. Somewhere. The end of the world of men coincides with containing the only surviving human who happens to be a female who's never had sex.

How did the that assassin person have Arya's face? I was under the impression that they get their faces from dead folk.

So much weird stuff happens with all that story. I've learned just to accept what I see and don't question it.

Sorcery of some kind. I mean, it's not just the face they use, in the first episode he was a small old black guy, and then the young girl who kept saying Arya wasn't ready was actually Jaqen, the Jaquen we thought was Jaqen wasn't actually Jaqen.

Or something.

The whole battle was definitely underwhelming after such a build up. But I thought it was great how they gave him an honorable death, he stood his ground and managed to kill the 2 younger Boltons when wounded. No other show would have given him after he had sacrificed his daughter. When Brienne charged him to death you could see how he knew he deserved to die and there was a degree of humanity and honesty about his acceptance. In that moment I did feel sympathy for him. where he clearly doesn't deserve it after killing his daughter and that's why the whole series is so great you can go from disliking some one to feeling sorry for him in a instant. I personally thought it was a great scene.

I was actually very happy to see him as he had become such a boring and one dimensional character. The thing that annoyed me is that it was Brienne who killed him in such a poor scene.

What is regarded as the best season. Personally I am leaning towards 2. Tyrions politics in Kings Landing in that season is brilliant to watch plus a big moment happens in every episode it feels like.

I agree with that. Season 2 and the blackwater battle is probably my favourite start to end episode. Visual masterpiece aswell.

"Jaqen" isnt a person - it is simply a face/persona that they use.

I wont claim to 'get' half of what goes on in that story however - such as how they had Arya's face.

@Pogue Mahone :lol:

The thing that bugs me about Jaqen is that when Arya rescued Jaqen and dared him to kill himself as the third victim she was promised, he got all scared and urged her to change her mind. Yet, a few series later, he comes off all show offy and says someone has to die for the murder she committed and drinks poison. But doesn't die, or its not him, or whatever.

Why didn't Jaqen just do that be rid of the 3 wishes he granted Arya back in season 2? / 3?

A man has to follow the script.

I reckon neither of them are dead. One was bleeding while the death of the stannis wasn't shown.

Okay. So just finished watching all of the seasons. Watched 4/5 episodes a week so rushed it. I actually have no clue what's going on and can't remember the names of half of the people, the whole "many faced gods" stuff confused the hell out me. How she was being taught to lie by jaquen or whoever he is and told the story of the girl with the oysters and then she starts being that girl or whatever.

I already knew about Snow getting killed because of stupid cnuts on facebook getting over excited and crying about it. I wonder if the weird witch woman will save him somehow, feck know. Someone was saying he's still contracted to the show for a couple of seasons.

One question, why does the dragon woman only use one dragon when she has two more. I mean, she's realised she can sort of control the big one so why not get them out.

Brans whole storyline has been weird too, meeting those random kids who helped him get there im still not really sure what he's gonna be able to do. I am enjoying the show but I'm still abit take it or leave it, i think.

The first two episodes of season 1 were on sky Atlantic last night and I was hungover and had nothing better to do. Each episode seemed to feel/are actually longer than the more recent series, felt like a lot more happened compared to episodes in season 5.
