Can the High Septon call himself King?

He has played this brilliantly, stringed along Cercei till she was foolish enough to give him weapons and power.. Already has a good backing from the people, that statement of "you are few,we are many" sounded very ominous.. Now that he has Cercei in his jail,he can kill Tommen, blackmail the Tyrell's into supporting him inexchange for Loras and Margery.. In a season with no scheming of Tywin, the High Septon has been a welcome addition.

I liked how he got Cersei to approve of the cell conditions before sticking her in one.

This has been a really boring season so far. What do they have up their sleeves with 3 episodes remaining?

Interesting, perhaps he tries to form a peoples republic of westeros or something and abolish the monarchy altogether.

For all this 'Winter is coming', you'd have thought 7 episodes in we'd have at least seen 1 White walker by now. Very disappointing that in the 5 seasons we have only seen a minimal amount of them.

He got it when he was near Caster's hut I think? Or when a few of them went beyond the wall? Caster used to offer his incestuous babies to the White Walkers and he went to save Gilly's kid.

I think... @RedSky

Way back in Season 2 the Nights Watch embarked north of the wall to try and find Jons Uncle. They got to Casters hut and then continued north and set up camp on what was basically an iron age fort (basically a big hill). While digging trenches on this hill, Sam + friends found a large stone deep in the snow, they uncovered the stone to find the Dragonglass weapons (there was a Nights Watch cloak ontop of them). Arrowheads and spear shards. Sam had all them and managed to kill a white walker with one of the spear shards (which I think he dropped, but he had loads spare). He then gave some to Bran + friends when they met in the abandoned castle along the wall. Sam then gave the rest (in this episode) to Jon Snow.

I think it'll be one of those forgotten storylines tbh. It was just a narrative tool to provide the Nights Watch an excuse to ride north of the wall imo.

I don't think he'd have the name stark if it was just a narrative tool.

Surely he is going to turn out to be the White Walker overlord.

I think he's an important character. He was the one who convinced Jon to join the Night's Watch. He may come back in a later season.
