Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Awesome stuff, finally winter has come. Though I suspect it may take one whole season to cross that river.

Kick ass episode...those white walkers are fecking cool looking as well as the giants....is he going to turn as well? He didnt look all to well walking into the water....I guess Dragonglass isnt the only thing that can kill a WW.

Is the giant going to just walk back? I was wondering the whole time how he was going to fit in one of the boats.

The look on Jon and the white walkers face when they hit their swords together was great.

Best episode this season.

Anyone else think of World War Z when the Wight's were scaling the wall just like the wall in Tel Aviv.

If anyone mentions legend, Jon Snow's name must be spoken after -- warrior.

The second that woman put her kids on the boat and told them she'd be following , I knew shit was about to go down. I was expecting Jon Snow to get killed to be honest, so I'm glad that didn't happen. It'll probably be next season before we see the White Walkers again, though. Hopefully the Stannis/Bolton showdown will be just as epic as tonight's. That's clearly what the season has been building towards.

The Lannisters have wildfire. Danerys has dragons. Stannis has dragon glass. Jon Snow has the Wildlings. I think I can see the way the latter seasons might go.

Also, Peter Dinklage's accent cracked a few times this episode. It's usually not too bad. Aiden Gillen must be rubbing off on him.

Wonder what Ramsey is going to do with "20 good men"?

Tyrion gets Mormont thrown out. Harsh after he saved his life.

Cersei, how the mighty have fallen. Even though she's a massive bitch, I want to see her get revenge on the Sparrow nun and Qyburn's "The work continues" makes me think she will.

I actually felt sorry for Cersei when she was licking water off the ground, her pride is too great for her to admit her sins :(

What an episode. Great step up for a great series to date. The battle all the better for coming out of nowhere.

Brilliant episode, just what this series needed. Also if the white walkers can't cross water then maybe they should have built a moat in front of the wall too.

Oh and the sparrows are actually making me feel sympathy for Cersei. I really hope see manages to escape and just slaughter them all.

When he was raising his hands at the end, I really thought he was going to start turning the water into ice!

Yeah, I thought he was summoning a wave to capsize the boat or something. Glad he at least doesn't have that power, as it would be far too easy.

the speed they were rowing in contrast to how far they were from the shore at the end made even less sense than the runway in Fast and Furious 6.

Fook me what an episode  I hope to the many faced God that giant survived, what a badass. Goes to show that having so many teams work on the show can be good and bad, juxtapose the choreography to the Dorne scene and it's night and day.

It's even better when they cut to the wide angle shot at the very end. The boat is moving along, nobody is rowing and they start like 10 feet from the wharf!

I think the problem with Dorne was the relative athletic capability of the actresses involved. That could be a problem with not getting the proper stunt women involved though. Even Jason Bournesque shake the camera around and cut frames to make Matt Damon appear to be athletic would have worked I think ;p
