Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

I see this as a filler season to be honest, not much has happened. Some people call it "plot development".

Season 1 Mountain was scarier. His anger when he killed his horse was frightening. Season 2 Mountain was boring as feck. The new Mountain is closer to the first one, but his face looks too soft, not angry enough. And his voice sounded weird.
Yeah, season 1 Mountain was easily the best, they really should have kept him.

Glad that old hag is gone. feck Robin off too with his gimpy little face and I'll be well happy. Littlefinger is the shows new hero.

Who was that James Corden looking mofo?

Oh and feck off America. Making us wait 2 weeks. What is it this time? Nba finals?

Hot Pie. He was kidnapped by Dennis Pennis along with Arya and Gendry last season.

Me said:
Wouldn't surprise me if Tyrion asks Bronn to fight for him but Bronn doesn't fancy his chances against The Mountain. Oberyn then approaches Tyrion and offers to fight, and subsequently wins. Tyrion will need to bugger off out of KL if this is the case, and Oberyn may become a good ally/friend of his.

What do I win?

Can't help but like Bronn either. I think his refusal and the reasons for it were true to his character. Glad it wasn't a moustache twirling "Cersei has bought me off... mwuhahahaha!" clichéd villain turn.

Good scene between him and Tyrion.

Good little filler episode. Glad the old hag got tossed, just need the little "I stomp on Winterfell, cause I had no sort of real parenting at all growing up and have been treated like a right little knob" would do a Bran Stark, and "fall" a great height. Follow his mother perhaps?

Mountain is going to get bummmmmmmed. Can't wait 2 weeks!

Filler episode? What the feck are you chaps on about?

We've been getting severe plot developments in pretty much every episode.

I've loved this season so far, I think it's been excellent.

Actually I do have a gripe. Tyrion didn't address the whole Shae thing with Bronn did he?

Are we to assume that he went directly to Cersei (makes him a bit more cnutish), was caught before he left, or option c - Shae returned of her own accord?

I dont think there's been much filler this season either. And yeah its been pretty good all round so far.

Only that one episode with Sam annoyed me. That was shit.

Just a reminder, all images in this thread must be put in spoiler tags or I'll put you down Stannis style!

I don't overly mind Sam, mainly because I think he's got a bigger part to play in all of this in the long run. He's the Merlin to Snows Arthur.

I'm just going to assume Varys sorted everything out.

Dany was the only "good" character left this season. But you can see hints that even she's becoming a bit more calloused and cold hearted.
She kind of is, but ultimately it's for justice and to stop more terrible things from happening. She's still got her heart in the right place, just becoming a bit ruthless, which in fairness is probably something that a ruler in this world needs. Also I don't agree she was the only good one left, I think Jon Snow is the most "good" character left and Tyrion is also clearly one of the good guys. I think Oberyn perhaps is too, so far he's seemed pretty swell

Another great episode. I love Arya hopefully she has started a little killing spree. So funny when little finger made the old witch fly. You could tell from the very beginning he had a thing for Sansa. How old is she btw?

I swear some of the people moaning how slowly everything is going would be better off watching James Bond or something. Loads has happened this season.

No ones "good". Simply characters who are less evil and vindictive than others.

Sansa is the only innocent one left on the show. She's a genuinely good character who always carries herself impeccably, mostly due to the fact she's a bit of a wet blanket and doesn't know how to bark back.

Those three still have an edge and an air of unpredictability about them. You always feel they have a dangerous turn in them.

True. She's a bit of a fairytale character at the moment.

She said to Tyrion around the time of the wedding that she was 14
