New contract for FrenkieWhat the feck does that mean?
New contract for FrenkieWhat the feck does that mean?
newcastle and ekitike very recently, but tbf we don’t know why talks broke down.In this day and age, when was the last time you heard 2 clubs had ageed a fee but the transfer failed because the player couldn't agree terms?
Nearly every high profile transfer nowadays starts with the club agreeing terms with the players agent before the club starts negotiating with the club. It's not permitted, but everyone does it.
especially since ETH knows him well and we've already done a deal with Frenkie's agent this summer. There's simply no way we haven't got assurances that he's willing to come and that personal terms won't be a huge issue.newcastle and ekitike very recently, but tbf we don’t know why talks broke down.
i’d be absolutely shocked if we had got this far though for him to say nah you’re alright lads
Utd don’t chase him for months without actually having a conversation with him to see if he’s open to coming and what kind of terms he’d be happy with. Overall, yeah, but it meant that United couldn't progress on getting a total agreement with Barcelona until then. This recent update indicates that major progress is being made to resolve that issue.i thought the issue was with Barca and Frenkie?
I know. That wasn't my point. I was just letting you know, regardless of the Spain news.Eh? I said this way before the news about Murtough in Spain broke smart ass
And we know a change is gonna comeIt's been de Jong time coming.
Edit
Frenkie : Why Lewandowski? What the feck does that mean?
In my country if the presenter is that intense, somebody famous had died.Spanish transfer window coverage is intense...
Clearly there has been a Skype or Zoom between these two and Ten Hag over the weekend where he told them go to Barcelona and make this deal happen, don't come back until it's sorted.
Would you want to disappoint an angry bald man screaming at you
The reliable Barcelona journalists are now reporting that both United and Barcelona have agreed on terms for Frenkie de Jong. All that's left is for the player to agree on the personal terms.I can’t be arsed to read this thread. Did something happen ?
He is about to become your player. I know youre in Bangkok but pay attention to transfers ffs.I can’t be arsed to read this thread. Did something happen ?
All that's left is for both clubs to try and persuade him to leave. Not quite the same thing. The reliable Barcelona journalists are now reporting that both United and Barcelona have agreed on terms for Frenkie de Jong. All that's left is for the player to agree on the personal terms.
That last part was more based on what the English journalists have been reporting, who've previously stated that personal terms basically won't be an issue. Of course, the Barcelona journalists will lag behind in that aspect given that some of them have been pushing hard the narrative that de Jong wants to stay. All that's left is for both clubs to try and persuade him to leave. Well, let's hope the English journos are right. I wouldn't want us to sign a player that would rather not. That last part was more based on what the English journalists have been reporting, who've previously stated that personal terms basically won't be an issue. Honestly I can't believe we're signing him. He's easily one of the most promising young midfielders in the world. He has the potential to reach Modric level heights. I sure hope it coincides with as many trophies for United.
He is already better than Modric was at the same age. One poor season in a mess of a club does not change that.It wont; nowhere close. But it's definitely a great signing that will improve the side

Ah ok, thought you were another one trying to downplay his talentI was replying to the idea of him bringing a trophy haul like Modric's had

Who is "Murtagh"? Have Murtough and Ten Hag merged into a single entity or am I missing something?
Imagine him joining and being out-competed by Fred.
