A lot of them are actually annoyed at their club for being a bunch of bellends and making the club look bad in how they've dealt with FDJ.

They want De Jong to play as a number 8, one of the 2 box to box midfielders in a 4-3-3. Not a player in the pivot, hence why Bernardo is a better player for that position.The barca forum is a great read.

I don't get the idea of replacing him with Bernardo either. Completely different players for different positions ... but I guess they've never used Frenkie correctly.

They play a single pivot with two number 8s hence their preference for Bernardo. Busquets is their sole pivot and he's not getting dropped under Xavi. Bernardo is the better number 8 but FDJ is the better number 6.
