Typical English mentality of saying a foreign persons name wrong and not learning the correct way. I'm not saying you have to be Derek Ray levels of pronounciation, but come on, the guys name is Frenkie, nor Frankie.
 
Dawson completely ignored FDJ, so sounds like he is another in the Utd journos not happening.

95% of the caf refer to Eriksen as erickson/erikson. They only see him play every week but apparently that’s not sufficient to spell his name properly :lol:

It's the same for De Jong, he's wanted to play for them since he was a child and he is doing so, so he doesn't want that to end. I can understand him not wanting to leave Barca as i'm sure every Ajax kid dreams of playing for that club b/c of Cruyff and what it means to dutch football players. I can understand wanting the life style, the weather and i'm sure the girlfriend is playing a huge part as well. What i can't accept/understand is Barca has shown their cards in that they don't want him simply b/c of his salary, a contract they entered in mutual agreement thus they are treating him like a player that has no value to them.

Maybe it's me being an American but I'd jump at the chance to play for Man United given the history of the club, the wages offered, the chance to play in the premier league and to honestly help bring back some of that glory to the club that has been missing. The only negative really is the shit weather in comparison to Barcelona. As a footballer, you're career is too short to get stuck on boyhood dreams and stubbornness. The passion and atmosphere he would experience week in and week out playing in England he wouldn't get in Spain and at the end of the day, that feeling of stepping out on the pitch with supporters bellowing out your name b/c they fuking want you at the club should be more than enough to make the move.

He is obviously staying. If he is not in the plans and does not play much, he will leave next summer. It is obvious. Like Cesc
 
Surely the correct thing to do now is not sign De Jong so Barca are unable to register Kounde and then sign Kounde on a free?
