I'm well used of playing FPS games for hours on end (well not so much these days) but after playing this for a couple of hours in one session if feels a bit repetitive. Maybe I need to give it another go though.
Yes it is. Being good isn't simple but the game is very simple. Doesn't take much explaining for a complete novice to understand what it is about.

As Lamb says, most, if not all games, are simple (or easy, if you want). The most attractive aspect of this game is that it's free, not simple.
Lot of games are not simple for people that haven't played games before. For example all RPG games are not simple. Sports games are not simple because you need to coordinate a lot more stuff then simply walking around, point and shoot. You could explain this game to your grandparents in under a minute and they'll get it.
Playing the 50v50 mode earlier and one of my own team mates shot down my fort and then danced in front of me whilst I slowly died... ffs.
