Full credit to the Epic games, they're constantly giving out new updates so that the game doesn't feel old.

Valve should take note.

Yeah, I feel like a kid on Christmas with every update, nd I only started playing around March i think.

Any word on how Thanos plays as of yet?
My hope is you get one chance to snap and kill half of the players at random. It then becomes a strat when and how to use it

Nope. He has 700 health and 300 shield. Shield gets refreshed everytime you kill someone.

He has three powers but I think you should it see by yourself.

Thanks man. I checked it here. My Graphics card and RAM is fine . But my processor is i5 1.70 GHz. The minimum requirement is i3 2.40 GHz.

EDIT: The minimum RAM needed is 4GB. Mine is 8GB. Will the faster RAM and i5 core compensate for the slower processor?

I reckon you should be able to run it. Maybe check for any driver updates? I use driver booster to check for this.

700 health feck me, isn't that a bit OP?

Driver Booster is great. Updated all my drivers. Hope this helps in reducing the lag.

My laptop is a stronger i5 but only built in graphics and I can get 30-45 framerate with no major fps drops, so yours should reach 60 with the graphics card. Another thing to check is if you can dedicate extra memory specifically to the card, some motherboards allow you to give an extra couple of gb to it.

Health is okay. Shield getting refreshed everytime you kill someone is more troublesome.

Yeah he really isn't that hard to take down as long as you don't get a top tier player. If they are shooting lasers mostly, then just spam build and you know it's a newb there for the taking. He's great to play as though, although it's a cheat that the wins and stats count, they really shouldn't in any of the ltm modes.

The new update has reduced both shield and health.

Those challenges. fecks sake 50 people landing in Greasy now

Absolutely hooked on this at the moment, great fun to play. Some fkers can half build fast, i'm so slow in comparison.

Anyone on the caf playing? I'm new and I need help.

Quite a few of us play, though I've not yet personally played with anyone on here. I don't mind playing though, I'm a better teacher than player myself anyway somehow

Early gaming tips I'd give though are practice shooting and building seperately. Drop Wailing to farm trees and practice your builds, drop Tilted to die loads but practice getting into fights. Also I find guys like MonsterDFace and SypherPK on youtube are brilliant at explaining the game and showing what you should and shouldn't be doing.

Good luck mate!

I lost interest when I first tried it because I was just terrible. This 50v50 option is great for learning the basics though. I can just hide at the back learning how to build.

Tried this out yesterday, it's fun but i really suck and keep dying, any tips are welcome.

Not played it that much, but practice the building, you'll find many guides for that on youtube.
Building is probably the most important aspect of the game, which is why i personally don't like it very much.

That's clearly never going to stand, it's a shooting game. You can't stop people making the same style of game and changing things.

It's got a completely different style that is obviously not a "copy" of PUBG, it sounds like sour grapes/attention seeking.

They should spend the time and money on making their sluggish, boring game better so people want to play it again. I wonder if they'll try to sue that new Elysium game too?

Yeah, only started playing because Tarek wanted to play.

Add me, SlevsKelevra

We can all noob along together (even though I'm getting better at this game in my opinion)

You'll need a mic though!

Sounds good bro, will add you later.

Total solo wins before today: 4

Solo wins today so far: 3

On fire today, have they upgraded anything or am I getting better?

In fairness,, Epic just took the foundations of PUBG and made a game that flows better - not that it's necessarily the better game.

Bluehole have taken the right steps and with the addition of the smaller map, they should be able to win back some of their fan base.

I, for one, am a little tired of these useless updates from Epic. Shopping carts, jetpacks, hop rocks etc. add absolutely nothing to the game yet the most prominent issue since release won't be addressed - the boring shotgun meta. I hope Bluehole take some notes from Epic as I'd really like to go back and play it again.

I think you need a little luck to win Solos - it's a little more random than the other modes. I've won 8 solo games (having played less than 100) whereas, I've ~150 wins in duos and squads.

I find solos harder though. You're all alone and at any moment someone could push you.

Duos and squads you have a second set of eyes and you generally can spot a push.

I love Fortnite but I hate how alot of it is pure luck. The bloom is just too much and they've ruined everything by enabling double pump again.

Why's this game so popular right now? What makes it stand out from other games?

I don't think solos is harder, to be honest. I think duos is the most difficult mode. Just feel that in solos, you'll likelier to get pinched (sandwiched) in a lot of your fights.

The BR mode is relatively new. Epic were fortunate in that they used PUBGs success and then stole (?) a lot of their player base to initiate momentum for their game. It's actually not that great a game but it's fun, new, great to look at and had all the pieces in place to be successful. In my opinion, they ironed out a lot of the flaws in PUBG (lag, disconnection issues, FPS drops, loot) and made a BR that PUBG aspired to be.

I think the perceived popularity comes from the existence of social media and sharing content so easily. For example, I don't think it's more popular than MW2 (black ops) or Halo 2 (3), it's just that social media wasn't as big then.

I can take bloom, but shotguns will destroy this game - doubles pumps (which I use, as well), pump-tac are OP yet can be infuriatingly inconsistent.
