In FMT it needs unlocking, in standard you just hit the drop down on the team selection page, next option under use favourite team should be National Teams.

Isn't it a bit of a boring once you've built that team though? I mean, that team will win pretty much every competition with almost zero managerial input in FM for maybe 5 seasons without being touched. For me, this is when the I lose interest in a save.

I'm playing Martial and Our new Slovenian as inside forwards and they are banging the goals in. Do I need to set these to play as more traditional wingers to get the strikers scoring?

I'd try for Zivkovic at Partisan Belgrade, young, cheap as chips and a potential worldie. If you want to wait until January you can pinch him on a bosman.
Haven't played these FM games in a while, but how can some of you play with clubs like Manchester United? Isn't that boring? Getting a top championship side is where it's at!
I'm just fecking around, I've already played with clubs from top and bottom lots of countries this year. I'd argue a Championship side is still pretty easy/boring unless you've added some self imposed restrictions.
