Zivkovic is usually cheap enough unless someone has snapped him up. Lingard is decent back up. You might be able to get Odegaard on loan in second season too.

I needed a left winger for my Burton team to replace/provide competiton for El Kayati and spent 4million on Samu Castillejo. A spanish winger who was transfer listed by Villareal. Hes come in and has 4 goals in 5 games as well as 3 assists
I have Damarai Gray on the right and Maitland Niles on loan from Arsenal who is an assists machine. My goal machine James Wilson has picked up an injury and I've picked up Macheda on loan from Cardiff. I'm still in top spot in the championship and there are some decent players transfer listed like Wilfried Bony and Winston Reid, which I can get for cheap hopefully if I get promoted to totally rebuild the side as alot of these league one players are in the last year of their contract.
I'm having so much fun in the cups also. Beat Swansea, Spurs and Arsenal at home in the league cup to reach the quarters before getting spanked by City. I now have Swansea at home in the 6th round of the FA cup

Play Martial. Got 50 goals in the 2nd season for me in 40 odd appearances which is incredible considering he was rotated quite a bit. 25 goals in the first season too.
Martial regularly goes on goal draughts and constantly misses sitters for me, no idea how he's getting so many goals for people. maybe I got a bad PA for him.

Should be impossible, a bad PA for Martial still makes for an excellent striker.
Possible you've been unlucky. He's amazing in mine. Beats players for fun, scores all sorts of goals. Embolo is ace too. Won't be around to see the best of him though, left Utd. Got Kane instead of lukaku. Same goal scoring record as Martial. 25 in the first season, 50 in the next. Doesn't have the dribbling or pace of martial though.
does he take a few years to get going? I'm in my 4th season now and he's still missing loads of sitters. Pretty good at link up, though. Lukaku has a goal per game for me.
Pogba is just silly, though, it feels like cheating. Constant 30 yarders. He gets like 20-30 goals a season for me.

Complete striker. I use Lukaku as a Target Man.

Complete striker suits him. I used him and Kane together interchanging between themselves as CF and AF. Surprising he isn't that good in yours.
I don't know, I played him in multiple roles in different tactics, even for other teams, always smashes it for me.
Is this game as piss easy as FM15? Been a bit disillusioned lately with FM games but that's perhaps to be expected after all this time.
Martial did that in his first two seasons for me, then in his third he became a goal machine. I play him as a lone complete striker, he still misses sitters but his pace alone gets him about three or four chances a match and he usually buries at least one of those. He has gets into box, likes to beat offside trap, plays one twos and shoots into corners.
Lukaku I've actually signed twice, first time for £20m after Sherwood got Everton relegated, I then sold him to Arsenal for £30m and bought him back for £7m. I've struggled to get the best out of him consistently. His first season was marred with injuries then he completely lost form and his place to Morata who went on a massive goal scoring run. Second time around he is constantly knackered by the 60th minute despite starting the match fully fresh. He has 12 goals so far in about 19 games. Martial has 24 in 20.
Ye he misses alot of sitters but he is devastating once i bring him on when the opposition is slightly tired. Perez for me has been banging goals in for me and Kane is an absolute monster.

Its actually harder than FM15. I normally go on winning trophy after trophy in every season with my FM games but i'm finding it harder in FM16. You have to keep on adjusting tactics.

Januzaj is seriously good when played wide left. Been my best player so far in the 2nd season and has jumped ahead of Depay. Speaking of Depay, he really doesn't do much for me besides scoring a few tap ins.

Depay - He's a world-beater for me, just has the tendency to shoot from everywhere which is a bit annoying.
Gribbin turns out pretty great too.

My last two seasons I don't think I've had a player get more than three yellows, but I play "stay on feet".
Just on the standard setting, maybe I should try "stay on feet" but I'm on such a decent run I don't wanna upset the form.
I'm £30m in the red at Atletico, despite winning 3 CL's in 7 years and 3 leagues on the trot. I even make a profit on transfers each season.
Started an Everton save with the transfer update. It's the 1st of Jan and i'm sitting 6th in the league, Lukaku is top scorer with 16 and Barkley is amazing on this. Have Klostermann, Mammana and Zivkovic all coming in today for around 1m each and i bought Rico in the Summer window to replace Howard. I just need to try and shift Pienaar, Osman and Kone but they don't want to leave as they all have nice contracts.
So I am approaching the end of my second season, mid table in Scottish league 1 with Annan whose ownership are now in talks with a fan group about a take over. All transfer activity has ground to a halt and I may be able to sneak an interview in at Deportivo who aren't going well right now, do I go for it or stick it out with Annan ? How long do these take over talks usually take ?
Anyone know how to install the editor to the main game? I paid for in the steam store and download the FM editor 2016 but the edit option isn't in the game.
I tried to get it the other day so I could fix the Chinese League's finances and its a useless piece of shit.
In theory, you go to preferences interface and tick 'show in-game editor' and thats it. But that didn't work for me, theres no reason why its not showing up, I've uninstalled and re-installed and still no dice. Ended up trying to get a refund.
Was going to buy this today as it's on offer on Steam this weekend, but the first 10 reviews I read on there are all REALLY negative. Are you all just playing it because you're huge fans of the series or is it not as bad as everyone seems to make out?

After hours of looking for an answer, I found something that worked. I paid for the editor on the steam store page just by searching for it. I reinstalled the game but nothing worked. I found this YouTube vid that was no help but there was in the comments section. It said not to buy it via the steam store and buy through the game. Go to downloads on the main FM page, looking for the editor, add to cart and pay for it that way. It worked, I did have to pay for it again. A guy on the official sega forum told me to email them my receipt and get a refund for the first payment.
They are just all butt hurt haters who clearly don't know how to play the game.
Yes goals do seem to come from crosses especially fullbacks quite regularly, but there's plenty of variation in the goals you score too.
If you set your team up for possession you can easily get 60% if your team is good enough.
Never had an issue with players tactics but then I don't usually delve too far into little details, just use the pre set positions.
Player chats are annoying in every version of the game, but you can usually tell them down and promise them more football. If you play them they become happy if you don't it's best just to sell them.

I now have 260m to spend, but literally nobody wants to come who I'd consider an improvement on my current team.
Every time a player seems to step who, somebody buys them now I understand why teams don't progress in real life haha.
Only difference with me is, I'm rich as hell due to selling every one
