Going to start my long term United save now the final transfers patch is out.
Will do a Villarreal save. Usually my most enjoyable team to manage. Small stadium, little room to expand due to the population, but with some very good players with lofty ambitions.

You'd think he'd learn, but he'd already had 6 fines for missing training, in two months!
Reminds me of the old games, where you'd actually have players sent off for headbutting a ref, or similar. They had to take it out because it doesn't exactly put football in the best of lights (at least I think that was why). Probably for the best, imagine being on the way to the treble and then "star player has just kung-fu kicked a fan!"

I've hit December 2026 in my game, and got a message saying that Suarez intended to retire at the end of the season. I was shocked he was still playing, so I looked him up. He's 39, will be 40 by the time he retires, but is still playing regularly for Barcelona! 15 appearances in the league so far this season.
His technical attributes are nowhere near what they used to be, his physical attributes are similarly shot to pieces, but look at his mental stats! I have never seen anything like this in FM before!

I had Totti like that at Roma after a few seasons, physical stats of a non league footballer, zero pace, but the fecker was still bagging 20 goals a season.

Wow. That's quite insane, never seen something like this myself.
Chelsea bought Barkley on my current save in 2016 for £14.5m. He played 5 league games in 2 seasons there before going back to Everton for £3.8m. Chelsea have just signed him again a year later for £19.25m.
Possibly rising to £25.5m I may add.
They bought Chris Smalling off me after one season for £30million, then proceeded to give him six appearances in his debut season before letting him see out the remaining four years of his contract in their reserves. All whilst picking up a cool £120,000 a week.
Chelsea do terrible transfer business in this.
They always tend to buy Schurrle back for 35-45m too.
Similar in FM14 but with PSG and Deulofeu. Signed him for £27m, never played and he even had the "doesn't want to play for PSG" thing in his preferences after he was released. Picked up by Sevilla, sold back to PSG for £30m, doesn't play again.

The Chevy logo looks massive on those lol. Plus I reckon the third kit would look nicer with black in palce of the red on the collar and cuffs. Home and away kits look gorgeous though, nice job

Yeah the Chevy logo is a pain, any smaller and it looks to small lol I had a play around with the third kit, wanted to get the 3 main colors involved so decided with that layout. I have made some pretty decent Chelese kits as well.
After the awful disappointment at Aston Villa where I was unfairly dismissed I tried a few different teams without luck before finally settling down at Torino. Aside from two final games of calendar year where I inexplicably lost 3-0 to Atalanta at home and lost 2-1 to Sampdoria away I've had an amazing season, my defence has only conceded 12 goals in 18 games, I'm sitting 1st with 36 points in 19 games in a season where I was expected to finish around 10th (still I am only 5 above 10th so it could still be true). Great campaign in Europa League too where I'm about to play Grasshoppers in Last 32 tie having beaten Lyon and PSV in qualifying rounds and topping the group with Plzen, Rapid Wien and Zalgrilis. I am not really thinking about the title, don't think I could pull it off with this team but a EL finish is within reach.
They have a massive squad but I have managed it well, giving games to everyone. Pretty old too and not much of a transfer budget to work with, I haven't signed anyone yet although I am looking for a central midfielder because 3 of mine are only loanees and will probably leave me at the end of season. Aranguiz at €7m is the most probable signing at the minute even though he'll eat up most of my budget, I don't see where else I'd need to invest soon. Maybe a defensive midfielder but I'll get someone old and cheap.

Fair enough, it's really hard to get all three on a shirt that I like, never quite fits for me for some reason. Yours is a lot better than most though, especially the ones that are actually made!After now about 4 months or around 700 hours of intense playing it's pretty boring. Can't motivate myself to start a new save or play on. I mean, yeah, it's about 70x the fun time of most games, but still. I think the only game I played more than this is Skyrim.

I tried Wolfsburg but had too many draws and De Bruyne asked to leave.
I'm actually 5 points ahead of Juventus in 2nd place after 21 games in Serie A. Still don't want to get ahead of myself, if I'm thereabouts after 33-34 games I'll start thinking about Champions League spots first and maybe the title next. Still reckon there's far more chance of finishing 7th, I grind out results too much to stay in top 3. Basically all my games are hard fought 1-goal wins. I have 29-16 goal difference.
I'm 4 points clear in Dec, and won my group in the Europa with a game to spare. Just need that coin to nail the squad down. Would even consider loosing Rodriguez(along with Schurrle), picked up Digne for 2.5m and he's playing really well.
That's some smashing results with Torino! Hopefully you can keep grinding all season long. Italy's great fun to manage in.
