Gaming Football Manager 2015

Been looking around, does anyone have what's been done to our players by the update? Like who's been improved/taken down a few notches?

Haven't seen a list, I think Di Maria is the only notable one, and De Gea seems a touch rebalanced.

They upgraded Blackett, and McNair, but both still have fairly rubbish potential.
It looks like they've upgraded Varela to a potentially decent player too, but nothing great.

Hmm might carry on with current game for a while before switching to new patch. Carlos Fierro has become world class on this game, great signing.

An increase in Mental attributes, Communication and Shot Stopping, but a massive drop in aerial ability.

Increase on Pace, and Mentals, but a slight drop in pointless defensive and aerial attributes, also made more comfortable at CM.
His CA/PA has moved from mid 160's to 175/177 and his MC ability to 19, almost natural.

Better at defending, but looses on Pace and aerial abilities, shame about the pace, used to be a cracking LB too.

Better long shots, slightly weaker in the air and technical attributes.

Better at defending, but at a (baffling) cost of pace and attacking skills. IMHO, they've been quite unfair on our Ashley.

Cheers for that, looks like some good changes but some weird ones too.

No problem!

Yeah, don't understand quite a few. Most of all, I don't understand why they done nothing at all to Blind(nothing I noticed at least), who's having an excellent season and could do with improvements. Notably a slight increase on pace. I mean, I know he's slow as feck, but the game has him slower than Carrick, Fellaini and Fletch, which I don't think is accurate.

Yeah a lot of the United players just don't seem right. Have you noticed if they've taken the Liverpool players down a notch or not? They're even more overrated than the United players were underrated...

Started a new United save now that the 15.3 patch is out, usually ends up being a more long term one. First thing was to end Falcao's loan, and I brought in Digne for 3m and Marquinhos for 3m, both transfer listed by PSG. Brought in Danilo for 20m after future payments and then Reus as well, for 40m after add ons. Surprisingly wasn't hard to get Reus, they took away his release clause but Dortmund only wanted like 50m so it was easy to negotiate down.

I hadn't even looked at Liverpool, I just quickly started a save with Man Utd to have a quick scope through their squad.

I have 2 more seasons to play with Roma before starting a new 15.3 save with someone.

Fair enough, might take a look later myself. Playing PES instead for now :D

Jesus, I forgot about PES, haven't even got that yet....
You're missing out! Gameplay is insanely good. If they could just put in the level of detail and realism to the management side that FM has I'd never play anything else...

I played the demo, it was certainly far more "football".
Yeah, the demo was pretty good. With everything on full manual it's even better, though there is a bit of a learning curve there. Once you get the hang of it everything else feels like a 90's game.

I remember loving the hybrid system where you could hold a trigger for manual passes. Not sure I'd have the patience for full manual.

Yeah that works fairly well, but it's an extra button press so you'll often miss out on some opportunities. I had to use training mode for a few hours before I could win a game on full manual, but the pay-off is huge. Short passes are still prone to go a bit off on occasion, but you can pull things off that just wouldn't work otherwise. Long distance shooting works brilliantly on manual too once you get it right.

I'll have to give it a proper crack then! Sounds perfect for what I'd want, I always play Become A Legend as a CM/AM, of course trying to be the main scorer and assister.

Almost exactly what I've been doing, funnily enough! I'm an AM, but LVG is playing me on the right of the midfield diamond most of the time. I pretty much ignore that though, and spend most of the time attacking

If you get it for PC, use the Galaxy patch, it's quality.

Attacking is the best defence, anyway!

Cheers! I'll keep that in mind.

3m?!

What a steal. Expect a good decade with him there.

Yeah, was shocked really. Was thinking of a center back to buy that wasn't Balanta, made a 15m offer for him expecting it to be negotiated, after it got accepted right away I cancelled it and noticed he was transfer listed and they were asking for 3.1m

Anyone else watch some games as a spectator? Probably sounds weird but considering most of my FM time is trying to build a club, or a career upwards towards the glory of Champions League, I like watching the AI pit out two teams while I'm stuck in Peru.

Playing some of the Italian teams is insane, dozens and dozens of players off on loan. The only time I use a director of football to do some transfer business and sell them all!

A mate just told be the same about Marquinhos. Was actually quite disappointed with FM when I heard that.
