Gaming Football Manager 2015

@Burrow @ZDwyr yeah I get that all the time too - especially during the CL knockout rounds, so mine usually reads something like City, Liverpool, Barca, Arsenal, Barca, City or something ridiculous like that :D

There was a time in FM14, as Roma manager, I had to play Juve 5 times in 2 weeks, along with Napoli and Lazio.

Anyone here use the Raumdeuter role a lot? One I've never really experimented with, want to give it a shot, but my only really suitable players are right footed AMR/Strikers. It doesn't seem to place the same importance on the opposite foot being stronger like the Inside Forward, but I'd expect it to be a huge advantage.....

Wasn't even expected to reach the Group stage and I have managed to get Burnley to the Champions League Semi Final.

Got Zenit in the draw. I am quietly confident of getting to the Final.

A Burnley V Liverpool Champions League Final. Didn't see that one coming.

Speaking of fixture pile ups with the huge teams. I'm currently in this set with Madrid...

5/4/16 - Man Utd (A) - CL QF
9/4/16 - Barcelona (H) - LL
13/4/16 - Man Utd (H) - CL QF
16/4/16 - Atletico (N) - CDR Final
19/4/16 - Barcelona (A) - CL SF
21/4/16 - Atletico (H) - LL
24/4/16 - Real Sociedad (A) - LL
27/4/16 - Barcelona (H) - CL SF
30/4/16 - Atletico (A) - LL
2/5/16 - Sevilla (H) - LL

Horrendous.

Pretty much the most fecked up game I've ever played on FM

Bollocks. I always forget about release clauses. Drmic tore it up in his first season for me at Wolfsburg. I didn't expect him to do so good, and his agent was insistent he had a £32m release clause when he signed, and he wouldn't go higher. United just activated it. They already have Falcao, Alcacer, Van Persie, Rooney, Wilson and Hernandez. DICKS.
There's a workaround for dickhead agents though. Just press undo or use existing terms or whatever and restart the negotiations.

Shouldn't be a problem then.

 That truly is ridiculous. What's the worst real-life fixture list like that you can think of? I can't think of any, but surely they must happen occasionally...

Yup "Existing Terms" is the button. Love this little 'bug'

It's not ideal in tough negociation, it's better to use the undo button, and then you put the clause on, and then you delete the clause with the option to not talk about it again.

Nah, just set the clause higher plus non-negotiable and put in a relegation release clause of 0. Done.

Edit: Well, that's if you're not shit and relegation threatened.

I don't want a relegation clause of 0, i like at least a little bit of realism.

Then don't use Undo or Existing Terms. Agents are assholes. That's the reality.

Edit: And saying that a player can leave if you get relegated isn't that far off.

It's pretty common in Germany to have a free release if relegated clause, isn't it?
It's often a very low fee than just for free (for example if a player is valued around €10M the relegation release clause would be around €2-4M), but it happens.

It's not that common anymore, because the financial levels of the clubs in Germany are rising.

Agents are assholes that doesn't mean that you have to accept everything.

No, but if the agent sets something to non-negotiable and you work around it and basically negotiate it it's unrealistic. Doesn't matter if you use Undo or Use Existing Terms for it.

The thing is you get trapped only when you are lazy, because when the agent wants to trick you he asks you to make the first offer. Otherwise it's because the player don't really want to join you.

And I don't use the undo button, I quit the negociation when i don't like where it's going, even when I have the money.

Right, if the player doesn't really want to join you. For example, it happens relatively often if you're a not so big club and try to sign Bakkali in the first January window. In most saves he's a great talent you don't want to miss out on, on the other hand, why would you give him a 10M or even lower release clause. So you use the "bug". At least I do.

Then again, I don't know how those negotiations work in real life, if agents really put things like that non-negotiable. If not then it wouldn't be all too unrealistic to use the buttons.

That's the difference between you and me, i contact him, i make a proposition that i judge fair, he proposes something stupid, and I let him ruin his career with Man city reserve.

Aboubakar asked me 190k/week, i sold him for 65m to PSG and replaced him with Jovic.

But you said earlier that you use the Undo button.

I know you can use the button, but i don't. Like I know you can propose 1m/20 goals to a defender, if you want to sign him on the cheap.

Okay, then I understood you wrong.

Everytime I do that with the 20 or 30 goals he has a cracking first half of the season and almost reaches it, as soon as he reached it he's back to below average.

In my first premiership season, teams constantly play their backups against me, reserves, prospects, etc, etc.

I'm 4 points clear after 10 games, with 7 wins and 3 draws.

Back on the PSV save. Early 2019.

Forgot how time consuming scouting/transfers could be. It relays like a game within the game!

Does everyone always seem to get all the harder teams in the league in a row? Just always seems to be the case in my fixtures. Maybe it is just coincidence though.

I've got it both seasons in a row, been meaning to screenshot it. Ridiculous scheduling

Against all odds with the fixtures, I managed to sweep all before me for a 2nd season. Had Barcelona 3 points in front of me but they lost against Celta in the penultimate game which left me to snatch the title again.

Here is my trophy haul in the 2 seasons I've had there....

La Liga - 2014/2015, 2015/2016
Copa Del Rey - 2014/2015, 2015/2016
Spanish Super Cup - 2014/2015, 2015/2016
European Super Cup - 2014/2015, 2015/2016
Club World Cup - 2014/2015, 2015/2016
Champions League - 2014/2015, 2015/2016

12 trophies in 2 seasons, never done it before. Already entered the all time hall of fame, albeit near the bottom.

Here at the stats for my 5 players which rotated my 3 front spots in the team (LW/CF/RW).
