First season in a new save as Chelsea. 10 games left of the season, and I'm 20 points ahead of Utd in 2nd :lol: Dont think I've ever had a better start to a PL-save than this one!
 
Just played the 1st game of the 2nd season with Madrid, hammered Monaco 8-2 in the European Super Cup.

Team for the season is as follows:

GK - Casillas
RWB - Carvajal
CB - Ramos
CB - Varane
LWB - Marcelo
CM - Kroos
CM - Modric
CM - Isco
RW - Rodriguez
LW - Bale
CF - Ronaldo

Bench: Arbeloa, Alex Sandro, Bartra, Illaramendi, Oliver, Depay, Jese.

Transfer wise Bakkali, Depay, Alex Sandro, Balanta and Oliver came in for £58 million and sold Khedira, Benzema, Coentrao, Pepe, Casemiro and Nacho for £111 million.

I've asked this before but I'm putting it out there again.

Does anyone have any sucess of letting Falcao's loan deal expire and not taking the option to sign him for that huge fee. Then re-negotiating with Monaco for a smaller price? Someone mentioned they managed to loan him again, anyone else been able to do that?
 
Nevermind. I had a backup from a month or so back, so no great loss.

I have an 18 yr old who is getting pissy for not getting first team football. I don't really have room for him yet, but he looks like he's going to be a great player in 2-3 years. I told him I'd send him out on loan, and he was happy with that. Every club that makes contact to take him on loan, the player rejects it. What's wrong with this little cnut?

I have 4 or 5 other good youngsters, who are all decent players in their own right, but really need to go on loan to play first team football before they're good enough to play for a top team. I just can't get any club interested in them though, even if I offer to pay 100% of the wages. Is there any way to force through loan deals?

Also City offered 33 million for Wanyama, anybody got a good replacement for him? I had been playing him as a BWM(D).
 
Managing Chivas, five or six games into the season and I've just had seven players complain about lack of playing time. :wenger:

Gaston Gil Romero has been very good (and cheap) for me as a BWM. You can get him for about £5 million so it is worth a shot.

He has very high potential too, one of the best in the world later on if you develop him well.

Thats unfortunate. I don't know what he is like on 15 but Lars Bender has usually been a quality BWM on previous FM's. He could maybe be worth a try at getting. Though on my save he joined Arsenal so he might not want to join Southampton.

Picked up Kranevitter for 5 million, just need to get a new Lb and I will be sorted.
 
Just got it in time for the first game of the season against united, had to pay another million for his agents stake though.
 
Bollocks. I always forget about release clauses. Drmic tore it up in his first season for me at Wolfsburg. I didn't expect him to do so good, and his agent was insistent he had a £32m release clause when he signed, and he wouldn't go higher. United just activated it. They already have Falcao, Alcacer, Van Persie, Rooney, Wilson and Hernandez. DICKS.

Anyone got any tips on how to get Depay scoring goals and making assists?
 
Balotelli is fecking unreal on my game. Couldn't be any more unrealistic. 29 goals and 13 assists in the league in the first season, already has 14 in 8 games at the start of the season. My main man Bony is the 2nd highest scorer on 8. Liverpool running away with the GS column.
 
Playing a game on FMC as United ATM. Very simple attacking tactic. Few signings. Tried to make them as realistic as possible. Dragovic , Patrick Roberts (Loaned back to Fulham), Depay and De Sciglio came in. De Sciglio was doing pretty well until doing his cruciate, 9 months out :(

Sitting top mid-december, things looking okay. Just aiming for a comfortable UCL qualification. If I win the title I win the title...

Would like someone a bit more two-dimensonal than Valencia for my RW spot. Was thinking about a Depay/Januzaj RW/LW combo for the long term but I'm a little unsure now. Zaha will be coming back next year also so I may be tempted to dump Val and get an experienced 1st choice RW in while Jan/Memphis mature and better their games. Thinking of someone like Cuadrado right now, never bought him on this version of the game. Anyone care to give their opinion on whether he'd be worth the fortune that Fiorentina would demand for him?
 
Started a Manchester United save, sold some players, bought a few others. We'll see how it goes!

edit: Bought Tony Sanabria from Roma as he was recommended to me by my best scout.

Cuadrado looks an utter beast.
 
Really suffering in my third season with Burnley having the Champions League to contend with and a small squad. I am about ten points off 4th in January so its not looking to hopeful.

Plus side is I got through my group which included Dortmund and Atletico Madrid and got Benfica in the next round which is a very winnable tie I think.

Does everyone always seem to get all the harder teams in the league in a row? Just always seems to be the case in my fixtures. Maybe it is just coincidence though.
