Gaming Football Manager 2015

I know it's just a game, but I got a sense of pride after setting up my first international affiliate with a Chinese club for FC United :D Building a worldwide brand!
 
Given Madrid a go, just played Atletico 3rd game into the league season.

Beat them 9-1, Ronaldo bagged a double hat trick.
 
Ronaldo has currently got 12 goals an 2 assists in 4 games at the moment, unreal.
 
Delighted to have turned it around for FC United in my first season in the PL! First I was on a 9 game streak without winning, now I'm on a 4 game unbeaten run and I've managed to claw my way to 10th in the league! If I avoid relegation this season, I'm sure I'll get into top 4 next season if I'm handed a decent budget :D
 
Getting close to the business end of the season now, and I felt I was doing great. Suddenly it pops up in my feed that I've set a new club record, turns out I'm on a 18 game unbeaten run :lol: Fecking hell, my two purchases and change of formation turned out to be a life saver :D

Edit: Just beat Arsenal 3-2 to extend my run :eek:

Edit: Jinxed it, and lost to Chelsea in the cup. And then again against Fulham. This fecking game :lol:

Indeed. Just won 7-0 against Birmingham after Rafael got himself sent off after 25 minutes. Granted I was already leading 3-0 at this time but feck my life I have never seen a team with dominate so much for 65 minutes with one man less in real live. The entire amount of goals scored so far in FM15 is just insane. I have scored 100+ goals scored in my last 4 PL seasons and the way this season is starting it doesn't look like I will fail that accomplishment in my 5th.
 
Really enjoying this save now, smashing League 1, and also tearing it up with Jamaica.

Been trying to granny rule some feckers, but even after getting messages saying "would love to play for Jamaica", they all feck me off when I call them up. Bet they won't when it's the World Cup squad I'm calling for, but they can all get fecked then.
 
Decided to start a save with Southampton, bought both Depay, and Balanta ( staying on loan at River for the season). Siting 10th after 7 games. What role is everybody playing depay as? He has 5 in 8 for me playing as a Raumdeuter on the left side of a 4-2-3-1.
 
Waiting for the 15.3 patch before starting my new save, usually comes out in around February time right? Also no idea who I'm going to use this time around. Feel like I want a lower league save but not too far down.

First season I had him, I had him as a LW playing IF...he got 17 in 30, with 4 assists and a 7.45 avg rating.

Last season, I had him on the same role, and he smashed 48 goals in 63 games.

Changed tactics this season and he still has 17 in 31....but Jese and Neymar have 45+ goals each to make up for it.
 
So Rooney is a cnut.

Third season with United, won the first two PL and went out against Barca in the Semi of CL last year.
This year i only do one change, and that is buying Koke and selling Herrera.
My team now looks like :

So everything should be good, only difference to last year is that Koke plays and Blind is backup.
Win the first two matches, then draw at home to Sunderland, loose 3-0 to home to Chelsea, loose 5-3 away to City, then loose 2-0 away to City again in the CC.
Then my team wants a meeting, saying we are not doing good enough. I tell them that we could be better, and that we all needs to stay togheter to get back on right track.
Everyone is happy except Rooney saying he cant accept my behaviour and so on.

I then think i will not play him in the next match, but i have to because of injury problems. He gets a hat-trick.
I am like okey thats good so i play him next match also and he gets another hat-trick. He now has 9 goals in 8 matches
He is still mad at me, but scoring for fun right now. Maybe i should just keep him angry all the season and see what happens.
 
So how playable is this game at the moment? For the first time since 2008 I haven't bought it in the first week because I've just had it with absurd bugs. I guess the safe bet would be to wait for the final patch but I'm losing interest in my FM14 save and I don't feel like starting another one on that game. So I'm tempted to go for FM15.

Just 47, as I basically play with 3 strikers. I still didn't manage 36 wins though, fecking Rapid.

The domestic success is simple, it's a rather shite league, or was, better said, Rapid is pretty much on the rise to become an European Powerhouse. Much more impressive is my international success, I have games like 6-3 against Real Madrid or 4-1 against Bayern to date and am now with a reputation rating of 5 stars on place two. :lol:

Also, I got my first 4 world class players this season. But I am a greedy shit, I sold almost my half squad because PSG came with the €€€.
I have now over €300M balance, but my squad (now with a few more Austrians from my youth) will struggle to challenge for the CL I suppose.

Before I forget it, should I this season manage to gain more points than England, or only slightly less, which isn't impossible, Austria is on first place in the 5-year-ranking.

Edit: I am two or three seasons further than that screenshot shows though. Thanks to the nice lad on here who talked about the Instant Results skin, playing long-term saves, especially in a shit league, is a joy.

Got a bit bored of my 2032-save, and started a game with United. Some bug with the database though, so I have two of Martin Ødegaard in the game :lol: Obviously I'm signing them both!

I cant take much credit for this team though, I'm letting Sir Alex handle more or less anything, read somewhere that he's one of the highest rated staff in game still, so might as well let him do his job (and it's going perfectly so far!) :D
 
I'm going to start a game out of the Football League. Conference or lower maybe. Going to try and stick with it and not get bored as I normally do when I just win every game. I think starting this low will give me a lot more satisfaction.

Will pick a team at random in a sec once it loads up.
 
I can never get custom skins to work, unless they are one of the very few which install through Steam.

I put the folders in the Skins directory, and then I load up the game, but they never appear in the Skins drop down menu in the interface options. I had the same problem with FM14 on a different laptop. What am I doing wrong?

Those skins that just have icons down the side look so slick, but no matter which one I try, I just can't get it to appear in the game.

I let it pick a team for me til it picked one in the Conference South. I am Boreham Wood manager. Lowest possible league. Will see how I do.

I play him as an attacking inside forward from the left and he has 40 goals and 50 assists in 2 and a bit seasons.

Inside forward off the left of a front three with Bale on the other with Benzema up top. I'll post a picture of his season stats when seasons done. In middle of January an he's bagged 40 odd.
 
I've gone in on this save I just started. Just attended an England trialists game for the first time ever and even took notes. :lol:
 
Had a while off from this. Had 3 uni assignments due in the space of a few weeks so couldn't allow myself to be distracted by FM :lol:

Will either continue with PSV or start a new game when I play again. I'm thinking WBA at the moment.
 
United's too easy on this.

Just completed my second season with them. Won both the Premier League and FA Cup in both season and got to the final of the Champions League in the second. Both FA Cup wins were come from behind thrillers against Southampton and Everton (?). Can't remember who I played second. Will post screenshots soon! :D Have signed Harry Kane and Koke before my 3rd season and decided not to renew my loan on Falcao. Cashed in on Rooney for 19m to Arsenal during the mid-transfer season.

Managed to land Strootman and Ribeiro who have been nothing short of magical for me. Gave Persie the armband for my second season and he's netted goals for the fun of it. 27-29 goals and 27 assists I think?


EDIT: Have absolutely no fear playing the big teams on this save; I always win by at least 2 goals save for a 2-2 draw with Arsenal this most recent season.
 
Finally got a really good GK talent in which I had to pay 26M € for, a bit steep for a 17 year old that hasn't played a single first team game for Gladbach yet but, he looked like a world class talent. Although he has lost half a star in rating since joining me dropping from 4 1/2 stars to 4. I hope I didn't get duped here. :lol:

As in "Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2015/skins"
 
Ross Barkley has an arsehole of an agent! He was transfer listed for £22.5m but his agent wanted a £8m signing on fee and £5m fee. I literally was not able to offer even half of either of those so he fecks off with no renegotiation :lol:

Eventually got him by paying him a stupid number of bonuses, on top of £95k p/w wages. He better perform now, the tart.

Do the Steam skins appear in the Steam folder or in your documents? Manually installed skins go where @Earthquake said, wouldn't be surprised if the Steam ones get installed somewhere else. If you're putting the manual install ones in the Steam folder then that's why it's not working for you.
 
In my Steam FC save, United have spent an absolutely ungodly amount on tranfers in the first couple of seasons. Now admittedly I may have helped them out by splashing out on Rafael, Jones, Januzaj and Wilson, but even so, their spending *nearly* rivals my own.

In hindsight, I basically bankrolled their entire spending spree, and their net spend in the first season was virtually zero. Oh well.
 
So I'm 3-1 up away at Stamford Bridge and then come away losing 5-3. Fair enough. That can happen. However, the last 4 of Chelsea's goals were exactly the same. And when I say exactly, I mean exactly. They were all scored by Schurrle attacking the near post from corners. What is Shurrle's heading stat I hear you ask? 6. feck off.
