Gaming Football Manager 2015

Lack of attendance, sponsorships, commercial income and my wage budget is way beyond what it should be, (I realised after going way above it ) so I'm losing about £100k each month, and made a loss for about 22% of my total revenue despite winning League 1 and that painting trophy.
Would you not ask you board to increase the Stadium capacity, that would allow for bigger attendances.

If he's not filling the stadium now, the board are unlikely to extend. Also cash flow could be a problem for that as well.

Just checked, and I've spent a massive amount of £5k in transfers. That's from Conference North -> Top of the Championship, at the cost of £5k :D

Anyone have a problem with Utd (mainly de gea) conceding goals too easily. Playing a flat back 4 of Rafa, Jones, vertongan and Shaw. But they sometimes are so easy to score past

Can't say that I have problems with that. Best defense and offense now for 3 out of 4 seasons played and that with a goal keeper who isn't even on De Gea's level. What I find very important is to get the height of your d-line right and adapting it towards the opponent you face. For example a team that uses quick mainly short passes a high d-line will work well against while against a team that mainly tries long balls behind your defenders may give you trouble with this approach if you don't manage to close them down fast enough.

Whenever I've played with United De Gea's performances have been brilliant, only thing is that he often didn't develop as hoped, probably due to mainly having nothing to do for 90 minutes.

11 games to go, and I'm currently 8 points ahead of Everton at 2nd place. Looking good for Premier League next season, but my team got a history of dipping at the end of every season :(

How many Reputation stars does your team have already?

Arsenal played a 17 year old keeper against me.

Bastard is pretty much better than their first team keepers.

I've boycotted FM15 since getting sacked 5 saves in a row, managing no more than 2 seasons in each save.

Went back to FM14 to win everything in site to make myself feel a little better.

I hated the way the players practically have a mutiny because I would sell a fringe player, or like other people have listed, they demand more first team football despite being injured all season. Then watching the results sequence change to L L L L L L L because of morale.

Im hoping it's improved slightly and I can come back and have another crack at it tonight.

Restarted my Forest save and I've only just remembered why I sacked it off. Won 6 in a row to move me up to second, then didn't win for 10 games, which included 4 draws from winning positions of 2 goals or more. Ended up drawing with Norwich after being 4-0 up, and lost to Swansea on pens in the CC after being 4-0 up. Karl Darlow has to be the shittest keeper on the planet as well.

Hands down the worst for players whinging as well. Sold some 17 year old to Celtic and about 4 of then we're in uproar. He was fecking shite.

Just signed Giovinco mid way through the first season to help in an unlikely title challenge at Swansea. Will probably fizzle out. Mostly up there because no one is doing particularly well, like how Liverpool managed a title challenge last season. Basically I'm beating all the lesser sides, but pretty much losing every game against the big teams except Liverpool. United were top a few games ago, then Falcao/RVP/Rooney/Di Maria all got injured and are now in 5th (they lost 7-0 to Everton with Will Keane up front...) so now Spurs are 1st (exactly) with my Swansea side just behind.

Wasn't really expecting/planning to sign Giovinco. He was out of contract in summer but wanted huge wages, but just sent the lump Gomis out on loan (no one would buy him for free) to free up a lot of wages, had a 1m bid accepted, then he went from wanting 110k to accepting 68k a week. Basically I didn't want to rely on Gomis whilst Bony was away at the AFCON so it called for desperate measures. 3 in his first 4 games though. Sigurdsson and Bony are obviously great, but so are Montero and Nathan Dyer so it's a fun save! Could do with an actual defensive midfielder in the summer though...

4-1 to 4-5 in just over 20 minutes! Madness

Really bugs me that you can't use your transfer budget to pay off debt. I have £230m just sat there doing nothing, we have £312m sat in the bank, yet we can't pay off any of the £342m debt. While it's not really a problem having the debt sat there, I'd much prefer to be debt-free

So I start a new game with Roma. Trying to sort out my coaches and even though I only had about 5 coaches they wouldn't let me sign any more. I then realise that Roma has 9 physios. Do they seriously need 9?

Anyway sacked them all.

One of the things that really annoys me, too.

Surely that's not possible in real life either, or Man Utd would be debt free handily.
I'm fairly sure it is, didn't we pay off a small chunk of it a couple of years ago? I don't see why a bank would be against someone paying them their money early - wouldn't you just have to renegotiate it with the bank so they feel they've got a fair chunk of the interest they would subsequently miss out on? Is'nt that what "refinancing" is?

Hell if I know, finances aren't really my thing.

Think things are getting too easy on my Sampdoria save. Have gone back-to-back in the CL and league and am looking comfortable domestically again. Have Real in the CL quarters so that will be tough. Have an absolute gem of a regen in Andreas Mutinelli, young striker I signed for a few million a few years ago. Was regularly bagging 3 or 4 in the u/21s and now has got to 4 star potential and is scoring for fun. Got 5 against Catania not long ago.

Well, FC United are clearly not ready for the PL. Sitting in the relegation zone right now, though it's only been 7 games into the season. I've played all the easiest teams in the league, and I'm still yet to find a win :(

What season you in?

Annoying that I'm selling some of the dead wood to make space for youth players and then my first teamers kick off about the squad being too thin.

No option in the interaction for planning to bring youth players through, had to promise new signings.

Puts me to shame. Furthest I have got on any FM is 6 seasons
:D Yeah, pretty sure this is my longest game..

I realise that I've been promoted way too fast to the PL though.. My reputation is below all of the teams in the PL and Championsship and about half League 1  Still so impossible to get the better players.. I give myself 3 seasons to win the PL before I have to look for another job..

Just brought FM 2015. I downloaded through Steam so think I have version with latest updates.

Whenever I run a coach report I am getting some weird pros and cons. For example, players with high workrate and teamwork stats are being described as "fairly selfish players" as a con which makes no sense. Also players with good tackling stats(plus 15) have cons such as " don't like heavy challenges". Players with lower workrate and teamwork stats such as RVP don't get the "fairly selfish player" con.

Anyone with any issues with this. I have only just started the first season.
A player can still be selfish despite him having high workrate / teamwork. It'll mean that he'll rather shoot than pass (i.e look for prefered moves etc). Also, a player with high tackling and low bravery might still not go into some tackles. It's usually based on more than one single stat!

The bravery stat explains the heavy tackles.

However, the fairplay selfish player is hard to work out. This is for a player with high stats for teamwork/workrate, and is a defensive midfielder. He's also got good stats for leadership, positioning, composure, concentration and the only preferred moves are playing out of trouble, and dictating tempo.

I have been playing the Steam FC mod and just got through my first season and second transfer window (putting me in September 2015). My First team now looks like;

----------------Courtois
Rafael -- Jones ----- Marquinhos - Rodriguez
--------- Ramsey ------ Koke
Sterling --------- Januzaj -------- Muniain
-----------------Neymar

Subs: Scuffet, Stones, Balanta, Romero, Ward-Prowse, Meyer, Barbosa

Still on the shopping list is Aguero and Pogba, but I have finally got a side comparable to my old FM07 team with the likes of Ronaldo, Saivet, Bojan and Vela.

I was on my way to a crucial win at home against relegation candidate Fulham, when Phil Jones pops up to score a late equaliser. His first goal for the club after spending the last 4 years there..

After saying the league is too easy I have pretty much gifted Roma the title. Lost 2-1 to Napoli while they overcome Juventus (thanks to an own goal and a red card). So thanks a bunch Juventus, twats.
