A loss to Norwich.
Man you suck at this.
Man you suck at this.
My second half of the season is looking a lot like this so far (except no defeat yet). Every game I have like 65% possession and at least 40 shots per game, sometimes go over 60 shots in a game evenAgree, the first half must've burned them out...
1) Set training during the season to "balanced - average". I used to have it on high and got to many injures, this has cut it down. The more matches a player plays the higher the risk of injuries. I also get frustrated at the amount of injuries one can get at times but it happens in real life to.I am continuing my save with Cambridge United and at the moment I am midtable in the Championship. I am still in a shout to make the playoffs but I doubt that I´ll get promoted. Anything but relegation is fine, so I am fairly happy.
Two questions?
1) I have an insane amount of injuries. At least that is my feeling. A part is down to injury injury-prone, but I am not sure if I am making any obvious mistake. Any tips how to prevent injuries?
2) How much do you manage during games? Do you just watch "key" or "extended"?
No problem. Also, avoid signing injury prone players.Cheers. I already did that +day off after games. I also add individual workload to the extent that they don´t get unhappy. Twardzik is getting injured almost every single game. Others are not that bad, but overall it is frustrating to see fairly young players getting ruined by injuries.
I have to try the commentary-setting. Playing all games on extended takes too much time. Thanks for those tips.
I don't have the squad depth just yet. I'll get there!I rotate my squad at unrealistic levels, rarely get injuries.
I try it even if I don't have great depth, my "2nd 11" is always chock full of prospects and youngsters. Ideally I have it set so the big guns get the main games and the kids face cannon fodder.I don't have the squad depth just yet. I'll get there!
I do this as well. Just, this season my board set expectations a bit high i thought. Doing better than expected though so i'll give the kids more games. They've played all EL, LC and FA cup games so far. Only 4-5 PL games though.I try it even if I don't have great depth, my "2nd 11" is always chock full of prospects and youngsters. One game as Man Utd, I sent the U-21's out against City in the derby. Smashed them 5-1, was unbearably delighted.
This also helps the youngsters grow really quickly.

To be fair, my front 4 is:
Memphis
Reus Neymar Mata
So obviously that is a lineup that tears it up, but that amount of shots is still crazy.
Who the feck is es setif thoughYou were saying..?
8-0 in the CWCWho the feck is es setif though
That's ridiculous though. That's a shot a minute basically. What was the score for the game?
Did you watch the game in extended? That's a good hour right there!8-0 in the CWC
Hah nah, I only view games in commentary only. I prefer it old schoolDid you watch the game in extended? That's a good hour right there!
I especially like Andrija, as he's so versatile and can be trained to be killer at anywhere across the midfield or attacking midfield lines, probably make a cracking second striker too.Andrija Zivkovic and Richairo Zickovic turn into absolute beasts.
What's your starting 11It's not the worst 2nd half of the season for my United-side...
What's your starting 11
8-0 in the CWC
I also won the FA cup,
I thought I did well getting to the semi's with Crewe first season, that's just insane.
One more question: There is this option to only show "realistic" transfers. Is this reliable?
Yeah it's handy, especially for lower league clubs. There've been loads of times I've agreed to sign a quality player from the league above, sometimes the same league, and then the player refuses to even enter contract discussions because of my club's stature in the game. There is this option to only show "realistic" transfers. @Earthquake How many years in did you start having homegrown-at-club regens that were good enough for your first team at Crewe? I'm in 2020 and there's only maybe one player who's at the standard to be a starter and he's just broken his leg on loan, a few are at squad rotation level though.
Also, for anybody else to answer too, shall I go for British players only or purely players through my youth intake? I can't decide. I finished 9th in the Prem in my first season in top flight with Crewe so I've plenty of money and facilities are all top-notch.
@spontaneus1
5 years.
I finished 12th, then 5th and promoted via playoffs to the Championship, then 17th in my first season in the Championship (survived on goal difference) then 10th and finally promoted after finishing 5th in the play offs. Very lucky in all honesty, but after finishing 7th in the Prem (I thought it was 9th but was pleasantly surprised when I booted up FM tonight) I've got enough money to pretty much secure PL football from here on. Plus I've got Euro Cup football as a result of finishing 7th!
Anyway, I've signed Ryan Ledson for £20m in installments so I guess that throws purely HG at club out the window but I could start from now.
