This will be brilliant, make long saves more interesting when you're some club from bumfeck nowhere pushing up the leagues, with no rivalries it gets bland.
 
I'm really tempted to leave my Huddersfield team at the end of the season. I love the setup I've created and there's loads of great prospects there, but I'm winning literally everything with ease and there's so little challenge to it now. Think if I do leave I'll holiday and see what offers I get...
 
started a game with Cambridge United in league Two. The first season was fairly easy and I got promoted right away. Jordan Slew destroyed the league all by himself. Now I am in League One and he is still my best player. At the moment I am 5th after about 1/3 of the fixtures. Promotion is still possible.
I really struggle to make good use of my own academy. The players are far too bad to use them. I also struggle to sell players, that I dont need anymore. Any tipps?
 
Has anyone played the full version of FM on the iPad then? If so how is it?

Thinking of buying an iPad air anyway so would be cool if FM works well on it also...

Have you tried editor files, eg. Free agents database? Not sure if this interests you but I find it fun to mess around, and try to craft the best team possible. Definitely worth a try if you haven't already.

If you regularly play FM on the computer and enjoy the 'in-depthness' then it probably isn't for you. I was pretty disappointed as I like as much to do in the game as possible, though that's just me personally. The match engine was pretty bad when I was playing also - too many freak results.

Most who play it seem pretty happy, it's the same as FMC on the pc, I guess a bit slower, and you have to stick to three nations limit(wouldn't bother me).

I wish I could get it on my tablet. :(

I've heavily preferred FMC this year(loved full fm in 14), or else I'd be all over something like that.

Yeah it wouldn't really bother me TBH. I'd just love to be able to play FMC to/from work and even on my break!

Probably get an iPad next week so I'll post my thoughts etc. then

Yeah, I'd have it for the drive to work(I'm a passenger, of course) and such all the time. Often had hours of time to kill waiting about too.
 
One of the guys on the forum fixed it for me :D

Cant believe it was something as simple as clearing the cache :lol:

I'm meant to be a computer technician myself and I never thought of that FFS

I saw, I had subscribed to the thread.

Feck sake, I'm disappointed I didn't think of that myself. No matter what the issue, first thing to do on FM is clear the cache.

Heck, I've started clearing my cache when my star player gets a red card. :D

Turned out not to be a permanent fix...

I exited the game and then re-started and it has reverted, weird problem this...
 
Started an FMC game with United as I really don't have time to play the full game ATM.

Darmian - 8M
Schneiderlin - 25M
Depay - 25M
Teofilo Gutierrez - 4.5M

Falcao was the first to go so I brought in Gutierrez as my 3rd ST behind Rooney/RVP for 4.5 Million (rising to 6 is he scores 10). Decent enough player who brings me some more experience in the striking department.

The other 3 signings speak for themselves really :)
 
Brought in Delph now to give me more depth in CM. Young and english is a bonus too. 12M

Giggs rates him as my best CM along with ADM :lol:
 
So I've left Huddersfield and joined Stuttgart.

They've given me an aging, bloated squad which is 100k p/w over the wage budget, and £3.3m transfer budget. Time to ship out the crap and bring in the few decent free transfers left available I think. Will be a decent little challenge. Want to win the league then I'll be off somewhere else.
 
Is there any transfer update about with the players United have signed? I don't think LFCMarshall have done one yet.
 
Ffs I've started a Crewe save with the intention of going fully homegrown and youth players and in my first season there's been no youth intake whatsoever?

Just read it's in June/July. This is my first FMC save, didn't realise that.
 
I just started a save with crewe as well, full FM. Had a brilliant save with them in fm12 where I took them from League 2 to the premier league in four years, finally winning the champions league in my 7th season with them. Rather ironically my best player for that time wasn't from my youth intake, but some other league 2 side, got him on a tribunal for 75k in my second season. Only got 11 goals in my first season in league 1, but then went on to score 22 in the championship, followed by scoring 25 in 27 appearances from the wing in his first season in the premiership at only 18 years old. :lol:
