In the latest episode of the United Hour Podcast, Nik (@Rood) and Jamie (@Vault Dweller) are here to celebrate rare back-to-back victories for Manchester United! They analyse the late win in the Europa League vs. Rangers and then try and find things to analyse in a pretty dour game vs. Fulham. They also chat about the latest Marcus Rashford news, and look at the latest transfer news.
Played some more of this recently and I'm beginning to think the tactics creator just isn't up to the job at all. Feels far too limited and rudimentary personally.

What's the best way to use Pogba? Just got him for big money and I'm leaning towards CM(Attack) or Box to box.

I'm already playing Di Maria as the RP on the left. Don't want 2 players with the freedom to roam about.

What sort of rating does Martins-Indi have for you guys? I'm doing a Porto save at the moment and the guy is useless.
Alright, but nothing special it seems. My staff rate him at 2 stars(and "good for most Premier League teams), but my squad is ridiculous and I'd be happy to sign him if in need of a CB, depending on what wage he'd ask for.
Has he 10 for pace and acceleration in your save? I'm usually not too fussed with speed for CB's, but maybe that's an issue? Otherwise he looks pretty good.
EDIT: Also, I reckon they've been playing him at left back.

Struggling to pick a team to start with that keeps my interest.
Is there a way to see a player's goal record in competitions like the CL? Or just an overall goal record in all comps?

There isn't, closest you'd get is their history page, and clicking on each year, but you won't get overall.
Quite annoying that the totals like only covers league football.
Yeah you'd think a game as detailed as this would have that.
History page, click on each season, use calculator. As far as I know, at least. Really irritating that there's not an easier way, and even more irritating that past goals/assists/etc aren't added for anything other than leagues...
I've got to a point where it's very difficult to progress my Huddersfield squad any further. Some of my good players want to move on for a different challenge, but should I keep them there's no way I can improve for anything less than a £40m+ player. Probably one of my best teams ever on FM, so it's a hard choice for me to make - stay with my team or go elsewhere (Madrid might become available, or I'll try for Munich or something).

He's been really good for me on my main save on FM15 so far. Picked him up for about 2m on a whim as back-up to Balanta in 2015/16 but ended up using him as first choice LCB. Pace improved, rated 3 stars for a CL contending team, worth about 22m and I could probably sell him for about 40m with regular interest from PSG and Barcelona.
So fun.

Actually, he could play on my LW, as I have a playmaker there, but my two current players for that spot are Gotze and Oliver....

I've reached the Champions League Final again, playing Chelsea. They've beaten me in the League Cup Final and knocked me out of the FA Cup. I won the Prem though.

Just realized we've made quite a few of the same signings for United. Ronny, Depay, Gimenez.

Well not that nice, apparently my striker prospect is shit at shooting.
Ronaldo is still a beast at 35.
I saw Chelsea playing him at 38-39 in a save, and despite being a tad slow, he was just smashing all round.
He scored against my PSV team at 37 in the group stages this year on my save (2022)
Still only 31 for me right now, so have a good few years left with him. Gonna see if he'll retire here. Him, Depay, Isco, Mata, Januzaj, Neymar and Rooney should be enough for an attacking threat for a while to hold me over in the front 4 positions.

Anyone else experiencing that the gametime count on Steam is way off? It says that I've played FM14 for 921 hours. Can't be more than 200-300 hours.
