Gaming Football Manager 2015

Lost my third League Cup final in a row to some shitty long throw goal

My regens have been absolutely awful the last few seasons. Got an unbelievable defender in my first season but feck all since, doesn't seem to be any decent ones elsewhere either.

Just got my board to let me find a feeder club so I picked RC Lens. I went onto the proposed affiliate clubs and it's not on there, anyone know what's going on?

Fecking scouts

They told me my new £40+ Mil midfielder was 4* CA.

2 months later and they now say 2.5*

Feck sake!

I have a feeling I'm going to be offered the Real Madrid job at the end of the season. So tempting to take it but I've really grown fond of some of my players at Huddersfield! Would be hard to leave.

Is there a trick to getting players out on loan? Chelsea and United have got about 50 players out on loan between them, and a lot of them are pretty crap. I have 8 pretty impressive young players, who are all decent but they could do with playing football for a year before I can make room for some of them. I've managed to get one of them out on loan at Derby, and he's not even the best one of the lot. I just can't get anything for the other 7. They're all good Championship level players on very low wages right now (thought I'm offering pay 100% of the wages anyway!). Does having a DoF help?

Usually for me I don't have to offer them out to clubs, but they make offers for them anyway. Are you sure you never set reject all offers for them? Chelsea/United may have 50 players out on loan but they are often all in L1/L2 and not even starting! I find it's often better for their development to keep them at the club.

If possible loan them to a Ligue 1 side, I quite often find I can send decent prospects over there to get decent game time in a top division with a few of the lower quality sides there.

Yeah, they're all on the development list, and in the Transfer Status, they're all set to "available for loan". But on the development list, it immediately changes to "failed - no interest", and I get a message in my inbox saying "No offers for 7 players".

I gave some of them a few games last season, but towards the end of the season, they already started getting pissy about not getting more first team football. Now they're all pissed off that I've moved them back into the U21 and U18 squads.

This is definitely the moaniest installment of FM. I don't remember players moaning as much in previous versions.

Memphis Depay you f*cking legend. Could I finally win the CL?

Did they finalize the deal?
They did eventually, hoping I'll be able to poach some of their youth players now. Not a bad option to send my players out on loan either.

Go on staff responsibilities and set it so your head of youth looks for clubs to send them out on loan. Either that or find an affiliate club and move them there.

Lost to a f*cking Cavani goal in the CL final. How is he still relevant in 2019?

All of my star players played atrocious.

rofl at having Messi and Ronaldo and "finally" winning the CL in 2019 with United.....cmon man.

How are you even getting Ronaldo and Messi -_-

This was the first season I had them tbf and they played like shite in the final.

I got them because they're 34 and 31. Though Messi still cost £50m.

They always still want like 500k pre-2020 and Messi has never ever wanted to move on any of my games.....Ronaldo I've randomly gave 350k a week when he's 35 though, I took over Barca once just to force Messi out and he bloody retired instead.

In a serious game, I refuse to pay above 250k in wages.

I have changed the staff responsibilities, but that doesn't seem to do anything. I've asked the board to set up an affiliate, and hopefully that will help.

Got the Affiliate club. All 7 players rejected going on loan there.

Guess I'm keeping them then. No doubt they'll all piss and moan about not getting enough first team football. There should be a "You rejected loans, you fecking prick" response to that.

Cant buy a quality striker right now. Thats stopping me from going to the next level in Europe ATM. Such poor quality regions available on my game FFS

Should have kept Martial :(

Depay will probably end up playing there soon

Nobody with a surname that basically means Great Dinosaur could be bad, right?

Always happens to me, I signed Harry Kane, Sergio Busquets, and Raphael Varane on the recommendations that they would all walk into my starting 11. They're all two star players now. I'm going to ignore the star rating and just see who plays best.

Star ratings don't mean that much, especially once your squad is OP. One recent save for me, 2.5 stars or more was considered world class, ffs.

Making some incredible deals in the save I'm playing now. Got Deulofeu on a free, and a season later sold him to United for 55m, also picked up Oliver and Gotze for free.

The reason I came in here though was to discuss rebuilding a team that has peaked. I just won the treble with United in the second season with my squad looking like this.

GoalKeepers : De Gea, Valdes
Defenders: Rafael, Alvez, Jones, Rojo, Smalling, Balanta, Evans, Shaw, Blind
Midfielders: Pogba, Mata, Rooney, Bender, Romero
Wingers: Depay, Di Maria, Redmond, Januzaj
Strikers: Falcao, RVP, Wilson

My squad is by far the best in England and probably the strongest in the world too, I battered Madrid 6-1 at home in the champions league last 8. My motivation is falling because I've pretty much won everything and it's only the start of the third season.

I've sold Van Persie, Evans, and Blind. I've replaced them with Kane, Varane, Busquets.

My second team now looks like this.

Valdes, Alvez, Smalling, Rojo, Balanta, Bender, Rooney, Romero, Redmond, Januzaj, Kane

Never mind my starting team of

De Gea, Rafael, Jones, Varane, Shaw, Busquets, Pogba, Mata, Di Maria, Depay, Falcao

I have the opportunity to sign Neymar but I think it would be taking the piss having a front three of Depay, Neymar, and Di Maria.

How do I stay motivated?

Thats why I never start with United. I did only once to see how I would fit in all the stars we have. I usually start low and make my way up to United.

Once I win the c*nting CL with United I'll probably leave. I've been offered the Bayern job twice.

Is there a torrent out with this game or not? If yes, pm please. I only really play it a couple of days a month and dont think its worth buying a new version for, unless there has been any drastic improvement?

My % of transfer revenue shared was lowered to 30% end of season due to debts. Fresh season on now, plenty of sponsorship deals done making the club a truckload of money and its till stuck at 30%. Will it increase? I'd offload atleast 60mil of talent, it'l be a shame if I get only 18mil of that.

@Earthquake as you're always here :p

Eventually, but they might go up in stages unless you're in fantastic financial health.

Had a talk with the board. The team is doing great financially but they told me they're not increasing it as they want me to develop players rather than buy them. cnuts.

feck me, England have lost the last three major tournament finals (2 euros and 1 World Cup) and Phil Jones has scored an own goal in each final.

England won the European Nations League in my game. I don't even know what that is.

It will do within a couple of months. Always happens with me at Mallorca.

I know you don't want to hear this but it's nigh on impossible to stay motivated in a United save after a few seasons.
I recently had to quit my United save when I started the new season by winning 5-0 at home to Spurs, 6-2 away to Burnley and then 7-0 at home to Chelsea!
The only thing you can do is sell all your players and set yourself a challenge (only use players from your youth team/English players/players under 21 etc etc).

Trying to win the league with a team of Savic, Blackett, McNair, Pereira, Lingard, Januzaj, Wilson etc is quite a good challenge.
