Wat?!
Makes sense to me really, you could be unhappy at being listed but see the positives of going out on loan at the same time.

Yeah, makes sense when you think of it like that. Does look a little odd though!

Just splashed a boatload on a new CM for my PSV side.

All the top players were unobtainable so I paid out 42.5 Mil for this young Dutchie.

Obligatory screenshot (spoiler because my new MacBook's retina display makes screenshots fecking huge ):

After a bad start into my first Bundesliga Season, couldn't win a game in the first 5, I'm currently sitting in 6th place after 23 games. If I don't suffer anymore critical injuries I have a good feeling that I could actually maintain this position.

Also quite funny that Klopp has taken over Manchester United after LvG retired but isn't doing well at all and currently sitting 7th place after LvG had won the last two seasons with United that's a Moyesesque like drop off.

@Berbaclass Interesting mix of stats for the lad. Great pace but a poor dribbler with almost no flair so you cant really use him as a runner. Superb passing stats and vision so you'l be playing him as a playmaker, quite steep the price.

I think my idea it to improve his tackling and use him as my defensive minded CM. I have Ward-Prowse playing the supporting role and I feel he's better.

Yeah it was a little bit steep but there is a little drought in quality CM's in my game right now.

Shame you can't train Anticipation. I'd work that(if it were possible), and his Positioning, add that to his speed and Concentration, have him intercept the ball before their attackers.

Yeah its a shame, would have been pretty good at that.

The only chance you have to boost attributes, that can't be trained, beyond their natural growth rate is if you have a tutor that is excellent in the attributes you want to increase. It can work really well though if you have an older players with great mental stats in the department you need.

The only visible attribute tutoring can grow is Determination.

Role training on a role that uses the necessary attributes would help, though.

Oh I always thought one was more for the playing attributes while the other was more for character stuff. Weird though that two different tutoring opptions are in the game if they both do the same. But well that wouldn't be the first weird thing in FM I guess. :P
Some say one of the options adds PPM's from the tutor, but I'm not too sure if it does.

Like you say, not the first weird thing about FM!

Damn until the final days of the season I had a good shot at finishing at a CL place but bottled it with 1 draw and 2 defeats in the last 3 games against rivals for the CL spot. Still very happy with my first Bundesliga season that saw me finish 6th with the smallest wage budget of all Bundesliga teams.

Ha I just sold my best winger for 17,5M € to Hoffenheim. There is no way he is worth that much.

While I have a very talented winger I signed on a free at the start of the season I didn't have a first team player anymore, since the new winger is only 16 and not really first team material. So I was looking around for players I could afford and discovered that Arsenal had put Gnabry on the transfer list for half the value he was worth. Got him for 3M € and while he is a bit injury prone and his main position is AMC I think he can make an excellent Winger - S with his stats. In order to prevent too many injuries I'll try and rotate my youngster in as much as possible to not overplay Gnabry.

I'm going to start a new game with United, but I'm not sure whether I'm going to try and make a squad of just british players or if I'm going to do something differently like having all my players with like 17+ passing or something like that. I'm definitely not going to just play normally as there's no real challenge in that. Any suggestions?

Just British/'Home Grown' players is always good. I'm currently doing that with Sheffield Wednesday. I'm also only using one tactic at all times, and it's a flat 4-4-2. I adjust player roles and instructions accordingly, but always 4-4-2. Currently steam-rolling the Championship. Scored just over 100 goals with 8 games remaining. Will Keane on loan is taking the piss.

Just started off my new United game where I only buy players from the British Isles, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand (So far only British players and one from the US). So the first thing I did was to sell away/release all the foreign players/staff plus Cleverley and Young, and then I bought an almost entire new squad. I've got a few injuries as you can see, but all of them are minor though.

1st team:

Played the first PL game, won 0-6 away against Fulham

Feck not the best start for Gnabry. 2 games played and directly out for 2 months. Great.
I bought him for the same price as Mallorca manager, turns into a fantastic player. He's stayed relatively injury free, he's worth around £20m in my save. I've managed to get Benzia (free), Barkley (£5.5m) and Angel Correa (free) all 4 are amazing on my save but Correa is injury prone so just picked up Mastour for £500k. As I'm a small club the likes of City, Bayern, Barca and Real keep becoming interested in them and they keep asking to leave which is annoying.

Buy Mat Ryan from Club Brugge

Hmm, last season I had two players break legs, and one tear a calf, this season, in Nove, one of them has broken his leg again. Thankfully this time he was on loan so it doesn't impact my squad.

Heading into 5th season with San Marino (the club side). Narrowly avoided a relegation playoff from Serie B. Still trying to move a lot of dross from my roster which is sapping my finances

Yeah I'm playing a very small club (SV Darmstadt 98) as well and the guy I sold was annoying me to no end for the entire first season that he wanted to leave for a team that would play CL. That was in our first season after promotion to the Bundesliga.

But okay I was not going to put up with his constant whining about wanting to leave so I decided when the bids came in to test if someone would pay twice his market value and Hoffenheim agreed to splash the 17.5M € for him which is really stupid considering that he was a good winger for a second league team but really not that special. Gnarby is just as good as him and still has 2 stars left in his development.

I also play with a bit of a handicap as I imposed on myself the limit of only being able to sign German speaking players or rather only players from Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Which at first made me very reluctant to sell my winger as there aren't too many good alternatives around which I could afford or were interested to join me but than I found Gnabry for an affordable price and my old winger could feck off.

I decided to try FMC style (no challenge, just management), so that I can just use the instant results button. 16 games into the season with United, played 16 won 14 drawn 2, scored 55 goals conceded 7. Usually in the full version I just don't bother playing Rooney, but this time he's scored 24 goals in those 16 games...

Edit: Rooney scored a hattrick in game 17, then got injured in game 18. Ludicrous number of injuries in this FMC.

I just got Neves in my game, though my team has reached all kinds of levels of silly.

GK - de Gea
RB - Rafael
CB - Jones
CB - Varane
LB - Shaw
CM - Neves
CM - Pogba
CAM - James
LW - Depay
RW - Januzaj
ST - Messi

Bench: Stones, Di Maria, Kovacic, Ronaldo, Jovic, Schaap (regen), someone else.

I stopped playing after this. Couldn't find the motivation but I've started up the save again and enjoying it once more.

I thought having Ronaldo and Messi in the team would make it too easy but it's been fun trying to fit them in the team. Ronaldo has been much better than I expected, with 34 goals in 38 games from the new RW position I have him in. It's March and I'm still in every comp. Cruising the league, CL last 16 with an away win in the first leg, League Cup final coming up and still in FA Cup. I still haven't won the CL so that's my main goal every season now and hopefully will do it this time.

Januzaj won the Ballon D'or, first player on my game to break up the Messi - Ronaldo monopoly. Then he broke his ankle.
