Season 11 - Final Day & Table
Goodness. We fully bottled it in those last two games. Hopefully that's not an omen for the final.
I'll do an update on your squads and how the players have done + the rest of the comps after lunch and a dog walk.

Squad updates -2033/34
Sheffield Utd
Sheffield Utd are PL champions again! Their second title under Marco Rose. BD & seb are considered club legends, alongside Billy Sharp, Tony Currie and Jimmy Hagan. In terms of the current crop of players, the closest to being a legends is Yeremy Pino.
Pino has, of course been their best player once more.
Aleksander Dalipi has proven to be a superb signing for them. The 21yo Kosovan scored 26 goals in all comps this season and 27 last season. They look set the for rest of the experiment with him leading the line.
Maxwell Basit has also been superb for them. He is their captain, plays almost every single game and always plays well. His partnership with Petanjek looks unbreakable and means Scalvini has spent most of his time running the midfield.
In terms of the younger players. Alexander Felder has the RB slot nailed down at 21. Irishman Jonathan Lawless doesn't play as much as probably expected but he's still only 22. Chris Biggs was their first real prodigy and he only played one game this season. They have have surpassed their need for him.
Hoyenhall also had a solid debut season, coming second in the Golden Glove. He ranks 9th for goals prevented.

Bolton always seem to fall away at the end of a season, but this time they kind of surged back... before falling away again. Nevertheless they are the first Caf team to reach the Champions League final, where they face the daunting task of Real Madrid (who haven't actually won it since 2027).
Kendry Paez? The Yeremy Pino of Bolton, they call him. Paul Wanner has been a very good signing for them and seems to be worth the outlay.
SSL has been top class for them and bagged 22 goals in his first season. He's been supported goals-wise by Paez and Soares who looks to have been a tasty AI signing I'm sure Bolton are grateful for.
Still lacking a bit in trophies but obviously they have the chance for the big one!
Bolton might also be a bit concerned about the age and size of their squad. They have a few unregistered players, and ten players in their 30s. On the other end of that spectrum, 20 year old home grown Bolton lad Aeon Foulds broke into the first team this season, making 28 total apps!

Paez being on 84k p/w is a scandal.

4th for Pep's first season in charge. Not bad considering they were 7th last season. But they've still not reached the heights of that second place finish under Motta.
Darvich is their best performer, followed by two youngsters in GK Alfred (an inspired AI signing) and LB Rolly Munganga. Evan Ferguson has been as reliable as ever, banging in 27 goals over the season. Yamal got 11 goals (same as Mikey Moore) in his first season so there's a decent supporting cast behind Ferguson.
Clearly they're missing something to take them to the level of the other 3 this season though. However saying that they could end it with two cups. The FA Cup Final against Arsenal lies ahead (unless it happened like the Europa already and I missed it).
Derby also have a few ageing players. Leif Davis doesn't even get picked now but he's stuck in a purgatory because of his future transfer in 2070. Pedri is 31 now and 30yo Alex Scott, once an expensive owner signing, only played 10 times off the bench this season.

Unlucky @simonhch & @SilentWitness! A single Endrick strike won it. I actually gasped when Paez hit the post at the end, followed by that heartbreaking goal line clearance. A busy summer! We've had a small stadium expansion, some financial juggling, a massive bidding war and one club almost bankrupting themselves.
Owner Transfers
Let's start small(est). Sunderland spent 70m to bring in 20yo Niccolo Pino. The Italian comes from Fiorentina and has has two good seasons with them previously.

They went into big money territory but then backed out, leaving the lucky winner to claim their prize. Sheff Utd then went back to 202.5m defensive midfielder Hugo and told him they never wanted Bellingham anyway.
And then we have Derby. A decision described by their owners as "the genius move that wins the experiment or makes us look like tits". They won that bidding war, and have therefore secured Jude Bellingham's services for a whopping 435m, absolutely obliterating the transfer record. They've exhausted all their owner funds, transfer budget and some of their Bank balance to make this happen. No pressure Jude!
