Gaming Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth (PS5)

I played for about 7 hours straight yesterday evening until 2am

Its been a long time since I sank that many hours in one day into a game.

Im not on chapter 2 yet. This game is right up my alley

Ive played for 5 hours straight today but my bum gets so sore after long sessions without any breaks.

I'm free on Wednesday and there are no children or wives at home.

Still undecided between sleeping all day or playing this all day.

My brother this thread is for chat about ff7 rebirth.

Is what he told the judge.

No sir mr. I'm just playing a video game, its your own perverted minds that leads to interpretations of my gaming experience as dark and creepy which is why I unfairly won the 2021 creepy collins award.

Chadley was fine in part 1 because he was out the way and you only interacted with him when you wanted to finish a monster info mission. But he's popping up every ten minutes on that iPad when out in the world and he's doing my nut in. He's the real life equivalent of a lusty Uber driver text nagging you every five minutes trying to get you to become his curry bitch. No thanks. In the bin with you and your twin.

That sit-up challenge is a tough fecker. I'm generally hood at mini games, but this gave me cramps.

Beat the cnut though.

Any doubts I had about this game are over. I’m about 12 hours in and absolutely love it. The graphics, the gameplay, the characters, are all superb. The best thing is that in only 12 hrs in and got so much more to experience.

Question for those who are much further along. Is it vital that I get every conversation answer correct with respective character to activate their romance option or am I allowed to occasionally select a less optimal answer?

No idea yet either. I wanted jiggly titty tifa but I'm scared I'm on an aerith path.

Well, I’d prefer Cloud to opt for Tifa but I picked the 2nd best option in chapter 1, then the best option in chapter 4. The internet is a little ambiguous when discussing so can’t get a good answer to it.

 I did think the bit in the flashback where they just walk towards him with the guns was ridiculous.

Loving it so far.

Fort Condor is surprisingly difficult at times, though maybe I’m just crap at that mini game.

Fully completed the Grasslands and Junon. May do Chapter 9 tonight before doing everything in Corel.

Gosh I hated this mini game in Intermission. I think I dislike most though barring Gwent

I think they've made all mini-games a bit harder. Fort Condor was much more tricky than it was during Intermission, especially on Normal mode. Didn't like it in this version.

Just finished chapter 6. Absolutely love it so far. Glad to finally have yuffie as I really enjoyed her combat in the dlc

I got this yesterday and played a couple of hours. I feel it's quite a lot of button mashing so far, the subtitles for the crowds are annoying especially when everyone is yapping on, can that be turned off?

It's good so far though, waiting for it to become amazing!

I love it more the further I get. I'm a huge mini game person though. I can imagine people who dislike minigames will go mad.

The Jules crunch-off was the hardest so far. Though the 3D brawler is tricky ad well at hihher difficulties.

Caith Sith is really well done, both his Willy from the Simpsons voice as his gameplay.

Weirdly I did the Jules crunch off first time. The second or third level which has the half trigger for the first time was the one that I failed about ten times because I kept doing full trigger. Once I finished that and got the muscle memory it was fine.

Wow really first try? That's mental

I managed in about 8 I think. The fact it reverses after every attempt is a cnut.

Where are you cnuts finding all these mini-games?

Atm i'm still doing all the intel stuff in Junon. Amazing game but getting around Junon on the Choccobo can be clunky, especially the climbing. There aren't many games where i'm compelled to do all the pointless side stuff though so they've got something right despite them not being overly interesting.

Also Chadley can feck right off.

Just finishing up Junon intel before ascending to Junon proper and what a magical experience this has been so far.

Exceeded my expectations so far!

Must have spent 30-45 mins just practicing on the piano in Crows Nest (Junon Region).

Now I must find EVERY music sheet there is to find!
