Any thoughts on the fitness part? If he isn’t fit he ain’t playing. It’s already been announced that he’ll miss first few weeks.

Worth the risk if you have a playing bench as you stand to make spawny subs which is nice.
I'm drafting in both, Gvardiol will surely be starting most games at near 80 million.
This is my 4th season. First season i had 5.0 mil keeper. It was meh. 2nd season i rotate two 4.5 gks and it was debacle. Third season i had Raya from day one and he was a hit.
This year i will try with premium gk. I am thinking that i have 15-17 CSs in Ederson. With Stones, Gvardiol, Dias or whoever i will lose some CSs because of rotation.
When i see what is Gvardiol's status then i might buy him and double City defence.

Thought so. Pretty much identical to my Kane draft then but I've got Martinelli and Udogie where you've got Eze and Chilwell.
I don't hate it but I don't really like not having easy access to one of those £7-8m striker slots. Guess it could wait until the wildcard when we see what Hojlund looks like and who are the main men at Liverpool and Chelsea.
Also you better hope none of your first 11 is out in GW2 as your entire bench won't play.
I'm probably not gonna do it. As good as Kane is, think the fact that he makes the team so rigid is a problem. Madison at £5m cheaper feels better option. Maybe Son. Feel like I'll go in with one of those two.
Yeah I know what you mean. Annoyingly you take out that second premium and you almost have too much money and feel obligated to spend it.

This is just annoying isn't it. After Havertz started in CS and Enciso benched in Brighton's last friendly I went from Nketiah and Enciso to Joao Pedro and McNeil.
As most of the teams are mostly template choices, I was looking for a cheap differential and McNeil was my choice - strong finish of the last season, solid starting fixtures in this campaign, nailed on that left side and one of the primary creative sources in the team + on set pieces.
But now he is injured too and I left out of ideas.. is it worth it to go from Bruno and McNeil to Martinelli/Odegaard and Garnacho ? Or should I change from my favourable 3-5-2 formation ? Any thoughts ?

I don’t think Veltman is nailed, Trippier has terrible fixtures to start the season for the price, DCL isn’t healthy and Darwin isn’t nailed. Also the bench has way too much dead cost, just go for cheap defender instead of Perisic who probably won’t play and upgrade Veltman to Estupinan who’s a much better option, and upgrade Darwin to Watkins.
Removed Trippier, added Pau Torres. Removed Andreas added Almiron and removed Darwin for Watkins. Seems better?

If you’re looking at the 5.5 range, I think McGinn is a dark horse this year. I think he scores 135-150 points. Everything in pre-season looks to be going through him with him playing almost as a #10 and two players playing behind him.

Pedro, Ferguson and Welbeck as strikers, surely will be rotated. With their midfielders and Kudus looking like to be added, they may go with only one striker.

I think based on pre season form he will. Also he can play all across the front line so has more options to get in the team.

The difficult thing now is to differ from the template but in a sensible way. That's why I'm considering triple Arsenal midfield and double City defence.

Almiron is a rotation risk and has the same issue of having terrible fixtures. Just go for one of the nailed midfielders who are focal points of their teams, there are plenty.
Almost everyone is going to have Estupinan, Saka and Haaland, and most will have Rashford, Onana/Shaw and an Arsenal defender. Then it’s basically choosing 5 more players for the XI out of a pool of total of maybe 10-12 viable choices. It’s going to be a dull start of season.

You can always pick spicy Joe Willock again.
One's gotta wonder whether the prices are appropriate if most choose the same players...
I think FPL got the prices wrong. There are only four players priced over 9m, and of those four, de Bruyne is injured and Kane maybe leaving. There must be around 10 players that are under priced and the result is that most of us have them in our teams.
