I wish the season started and I could mess about with my team anymore. I change it 5 times a day now. The only players constant are Onana, Estupinan, Saka, Haaland and Watkins.

Trent is killing me. If i have Trent then as 5th midfielder i have Elanga. If i choose James or Chilwell then i have Bruno. I wish that deadline is tomorrow to end this misery

I don’t really love having a super weak bench though. I wanted a third striker and Jackson is perfectly doable by downgrading TAA, and I can even have some better quality depth in defence that way…
Current loose plan is to start the season 4-5-1 with Salah, before switching formation in GW3 by swapping him and a 4.5m FWD for 17.0m worth of whichever midfielders and forwards people are jumping on at that point.
Watkins 4 goals pre season and Villa are looking good. Nailed in my team.
If Foden starts tomorrow he will go in my team too.

Is Garnacho worth a punt? If he plays a lot he could be a sensatioal bargain for 5m.

I have had him in the team a couple of times over the summer. Reckon he is going to be a star this season but his game time will be reduced once Hojlund up to speed and Sancho being given minutes as well
Few variables. Depends on Sanchos and if he wins over Erik. Also depends how Rashford performs through the middle - could easily be shifted out to the left again, especially when Rasmus is fit.
Also means you are potentially sacrificing a stronger triple up on United players.

If Kane left then I would change Foden for Richarlison but we all know Kane is going nowhere.
If i did do that change there is a possibility I would bring back in Stones.
Chilwell over James is close but you just cannot trust James these days, if he started the season well and seemed 100% fit then its all about form between the two, could even have them both with their good run of fixtures.
Also, not having any Brighton attacking options is a slight worry.
Yeah, I had Mitoma but transferred him out after the Kudos arrival. I want to see how Joao Pedro and Kudos affect the attacking system Brighton have.
Richarlson for 7m sounds like good value, I'd imagine Ang takes well to him.

Ya it’s an interesting one. Kudus plays right side or central, Mitoma left sided, so Kudus is really a Solly March/Undanv replacement
Joao Pedro can of course filter to left side too, but unlikely looking at his positioning last season for Watford - again he is more through the middle.
Think Mitoma is more nailed because he prefers the left side where the rest are “can play there if needed” options. Plenty of 6.5mills anyway to pivot to should anything change. But worth having a playing option or 2 on the bench rather than 4.0/4.5 fodder
Yep. My worry though is that Mitoma gets pushed more wide than normal because Kudos/Pedro will be filling those central pockets. It's all a guestimate though!
Lallana seems to be first choice in the 10 spot with 2 starts, Encisio got 1 start which was in a rotated team vs Brentford but wasn’t in the squad for the last game, they have a game later which might give us more information but with Kudus signing I wouldn’t go near Enciso.

They'll just play Foden on the right and have Grealish and Mitoma competing for left wing. Saying that, I don' think it will happen anyways. They'll pretty much demand what they are demanding for Caicedo.
It feels very difficult not to go template this season. I had Watkins when his ownership was relatively low but that has surged to over 20% since the Gabriel Jesus injury. I don't have a single differential in my starting team, I've just gone Mitoma and Mubama to Ferguson and Garnacho in an attempt to make my picks a little less obvious. I'll probably get rid of Areola too because that feels like a price drop waiting to happen.
Areola has a very real chance of actually being a starter at some stage. I'd keep him

Maybe, I feel like the chances of that happening are stronger if Moyes leaves though. I'm keeping an eye on Turner at Forest but I can't pick him yet because I've already filled my quota for Arsenal players.
