F1 2023 Season

Just a shit short race. So pointless. fecking hate Liberty.

Well at least there's an actual race tomorrow, silly Saturday is gone, onto serious Sunday.

Quick question, do parc ferme rules still apply? Can the teams change setups from the Qualifying yesterday to the race?
Yes they can now. Hamilton confirmed that when he said they have learnt from the sprint about setup changes they need to make for the GP to his car.

I mean the irony is so fantastic, but of course Super Max and all that.

Even more ironic was Max saying that sprints are bad because they're "artificial excitement", given that his first title only came about because of some made up rules in the name of artificial excitement.

I want to see what happens if he doesn't win today.

George 'the heat seeker' Russell in 11th could cause some carnage.

Hope Norris gets a decent points haul, he is certainly cheerier and more upbeat in the media than the beginning of the calendar (and last year's).

What an awful track. Max passes with drs ease, gains a second in half a lap and now race over. No point watching the rest of it

They should water the tracks at random times, might add some excitement

DRS is such a pile of shit.

It would have been a good tight battle at the top without it. Could Max have stayed pushing just behind LeClerc? Could LeClerc have kept Max behind? How many laps would it take Max to get a good chance for an overtake? The pit stops would have been critical.

But no, just turn on DRS and give us a shit overtake on the straight. Exciting stuff

Race definitely not over, Max and Perez likely to go toe to toe here. Plus the pit stops will be interesting since the gaps from max to about Russell are not huge.

That's not really the track, that's just the Red Bulls being way faster than everyone else

Max benefits from yellow flag but Perez benefits from the SC. Bad luck for Hamilton though.

What the feck. I've missed the race start because I was assuming it started at 2pm like the other sessions. feck Liberty.

How can the commentators be so bad. Not knowing for about 20 seconds that the safety car didn't suit Verstappen.

Hamilton in a world of mess at the moment. Surely mercedes could've kept him out a bit longer?

Alonso was saying Hamilton's tyres looked rough.
Yhhh Alonso called it to be fair. I'm just thinking that letting Alonso through isn't as bad as getting stuck behind ocon and hulk who both started on hards. He was gonna lose time
