Qualifying on a Sprint weekend: A reminder...
While this session has been moved from Saturday to Friday, it's not too different at all to the usual qualifying.
The shootout will be an hour long with three segments - Q1, Q2 and Q3. The five slowest drivers will be eliminated at the end of Q1 and Q2 before the top-10 face off in Q3.
The big change comes in the fact that the finishing order does not set the grid for Sunday's race, but for Saturday's Sprint.
That shorter race, of course, then dictates the starting order for the Austrian Grand Prix.
Just a reminder of what's going on, 4pm on a Friday UK time is a fecking stupid time to have it.

Austrian GP Qualifying
Norris has changed his engine after FP1 problems, not a new one an old one that has been raced before.
Its my opinion tbh that it may be pushed back till next year. What Brundle said during FP was that he doubts TD would have any impact and that it may be 'smoothed' over?! I think lots of negotiations will take place before it goes through
Stewards being tough on track limits, a few been deleted already.
Fair enough, it is a possibility, Horner was on Sky before Q1 saying he has ZERO issues with RB floor and does not know what Toto is going on about.
That last sector is bound to cause issues

Need to wait until Q3 but this Merc doesn't look bad, especially at a track which is suppose to favour RBR.

Stewards fecked up there with the Perez lap.
Perez is making a habit of cutting corners and getting away with it.
I mean we literally saw it live when he was doing the lap, very strange when everyone else gets the lap deleted straight away.

stupidEvery start of a new Quali session it doesn't display times, all throughout this season.
It's quite admirable how calm Hamilton remains at all time.
It’s a nice contrast to his haters that froth at the mouth at any opportunity.
What I dont get is the Dutch fans clapping and cheering a driver crashing, they have no idea if he is injured.
I just think it pretty sad.
I get the rivalry but cheering for a crash ! the same goes for Lewis fan when Max crashes.

Silverstone last year and this year has probably hardened their stance sadly.
