They are really revving these units out it seems. They have changed the ICE again, same component changed now, its his 5th engine.

They have admitted there is a problem with the engine this season, reliability is way down, sure have read some sort of production problemThey are really revving these units out it seems.
Be that as it may, the client teams seem to not have it ? Probably they are using the absolute highest performance mode, which comes with the expected risks. They have admitted there is a problem with the engine this season, reliability is way down, sure have read some sort of production problem
I think your right, first season they have had to run a max power for so long.Be that as it may, the client teams seem to not have it ? Probably they are using the absolute highest performance mode, which comes with the expected risks.
There's a lot of Senna interviews in English where he talks about life and motivation and such. So despite him having passed when Hamilton was so young, there's a lot of opportunities to get insight into Senna's personality and thinking. I know because Senna was also my childhood hero (was 6 when he died), and I know about his life and personality from things I watched and read much after his death.Just as a serious question, does anybody still buy into Hamilton’s Senna bullshit? Bloke was 9 when Senna died. He wouldn’t be able to remember a pinch of shit about Senna the racer except what others told him. It’s like expecting me to talk about Cantona as a great player and a god… I understand he may have been a great player but it’s incredibly difficult for me to associate my passion of United with him.
He put something up today about senna and the difficulties he faced… senna was son of a wealthy Brazilian family… he has very little obstacles in his way..
it seems this way. Williams/Mclaren/Aston Martin haven't had the same issues.Be that as it may, the client teams seem to not have it ? Probably they are using the absolute highest performance mode, which comes with the expected risks.
If you can't remember things from 9 years old i'd seriously worry about youJust as a serious question, does anybody still buy into Hamilton’s Senna bullshit? Bloke was 9 when Senna died. I remember watching F1 when I was 9. It is perfectly feasible.Just as a serious question, does anybody still buy into Hamilton’s Senna bullshit? Bloke was 9 when Senna died. I wonder how much this poor engine wear has impacted his title challenge.Lewis is flying in Q1, but expected with a new engine.
Plus Lewis was karting at a reasonable level and wining races by the time he was 8... was the youngest junior karting champ at 10 so I find it perfectly plausible that in his earliest years Senna was an idol ... and Lewis at 8 or 9 I'm guessing had as good an understanding of racing lines and car control as moat people a hell of a lot olderI remember watching F1 when I was 9. It is perfectly feasible.
And went on to deliver two more fastest laps, smoking Bottas and Verstappen so farLewis had a fast lap deleted due track limits
I missed those, watching and working, he is looking very fast. And went on to deliver two more fastest laps, smoking Bottas and Verstappen so far
It could be , I was expecting the Red Bulls to be the ones to beat. Not sure if it's the new engine, but Lewis is absolutely flying
Probably has more power yeah, but he drove well nonetheless. Not sure if it's the new engine, but Lewis is absolutely flying
Bottas is usually pretty good in qualifying. He can drive fast, but he can't race.Either Bottas is useless or his engine is suffering from the wear and decreased performance that Hamiltons was before the change?
Absolute bots. It’s just insane how well Lewis & Max drive as compared to their teammates

Hamilton forgot there’s a sprint race tomorrow hope he turns up
Depends.. don't know how much more it opened. Any margin for error? Would be harsh to make him start from pit lane if it opened like .5mm too far or something"The uppermost rear wing element adjustable positions were checked on car number 44 for compliance with article 3.6.3 of the 2021 Formula One technical regulations," read a statement on Friday evening.
"The requirement for the minimum distance was fulfilled. But the requirement for the maximum of 85mm, when the DRS system is deployed and tested in accordance with TD/011-19, were not fulfilled.
"I am referring this matter to the stewards for their consideration."
Horner will be all over this!
Would this make Lewi's car that much faster ?It must be mm's but less drag is less drag, if found guilty DQ from qualifying is the only punishment.
yeh i think he would start at the back of the sprint grid , then get 5 grid penalty after that"The uppermost rear wing element adjustable positions were checked on car number 44 for compliance with article 3.6.3 of the 2021 Formula One technical regulations," read a statement on Friday evening.
