Is it true Chelsea and City are talking about backing out of the SL?
Well do you imagine a scenario where United, Liverpool, Real, Barca, Juve etc. would be happy with City spending 2-3 times what they can?
It was in the press release yesterday, founding members have to agree to a spending framework to gain entry. Seems pretty obvious who that's aimed at to keep them in check.
My favorite example is the move of the Grizzlies from Vancouver to Memphis. The name made sense in Vancouver, but then kept the same name in Memphis.Yeah, they can do a full-on relocation and rebrand if they want to, and they can go as far as making everyone forget about the previous team's history whilst operating in their current position. This has already happened in the NBA with the Seattle SuperSonics, a big basketball team that was then relocated to Oklahoma City and rebranded as the Oklahoma City Thunder. Nowadays, ask any relatively new or young NBA fan, and they wouldn't know that OKC was previously the Seattle SuperSonics.
United should follow suit if true.
There is no consequence for losing in the super league is there? Guaranteed to be in it each year. Its no accurate in my opinion.
Does anyone know if financial fair play would exist is the proposed super league?
Well mate, quit simply dare I say it by performance. We are the second best team in the toughest league in the world which certainly deserves spot in the "best 12".Then how the feck are United in that 12?
Was thinking more of Ole and the playersThe Glazers are key architects of it.
If removing the rivalry roots, the local rivalry of the two regions, then yes, it's just game. If the ESL teams remove themselves away from their national league, (even relocating is possible), then we only have the franchise clubs by name only. No tradition, no rivalry at that point. Is United v Liverpool just a game?
Milner said he doesn't like it. No nonsense stuff... now get him a Yorkshire brew.
Sign him up!James Milner against it.
Good to see him speak out.
Well they'll ask in theory be making so much money, nobody will have any spending advantage cos everyone will be minted
I don't hear it. The only I saw was Matt Law excused these 2 clubs as being blackmailed into joining ESL.Is it true Chelsea and City are talking about backing out of the SL?

I think thats his point? He's a smart bloke that's for sure, but this is also true when when it comes to UEFA.
Can you provide a link to Milner's comments?Milner clearly not fecking happy.
Cerefin's going to look like right cnut if he doesn't put his phone away.

Why would they do it. Bridge is already burnt. They would now wait for things to be black and white. Is it true Chelsea and City are talking about backing out of the SL?
