Surely this delay is because the Glazers are waiting for Qatar to come in and make a massive bid to blow Brexshit Jim out of the water

Dont worry Erik your not the only one growing frustrated at the clubs terrible handling of this situation.
INEOS handling of this so far has been disgraceful.
Getting a whole new band of excuses ready, he doesn't mess around does he?
I blame the fanbase suddenly going from wanting him out to foaming at the mouth at the suggestion due to the FA cup win
Oh, you're not one of them lot are you, still hoping for the AI Sheikh to finally submit his bid? Twitter is full of them.
Really? I really find it intriguing how a different ownership would have fared. I would say, probably worse than these lot.
I can imagine they would have done the same thing, big words, promises but its not easy. Look at Newcastle for instance, they haven't found it easy with Saudi money.
The FFP issues are real and however we feel about INEOS on this decision, they seem to have done better than I thought.
For Instance recognising its the culture and structure, getting Berrada in, I feel the ME ownership would have gone for name rather than recognising who is the best fit.
Throwing money at United is definitely not the answer.
Actually the loss from covid is removed in the next cycle and we should no longer be restricted much by FFP, Swedish Ramble on Twitter has done plenty of breakdowns on this leading up to this summer
Maybe the plan was to turn all EtH outers into being for him to stay.
Whilst I completely agree the culture needed to change and the appointments so far and incoming appointment (Dan Ashworth) was much better than I expected from Ineos the manager situation is the complete opposite.Really? These fecking players are letting everyone down though, and their power is unbelievable. We've 8 players left from the squad Ralf managed mate.
That's where the open heart surgery comment comes from. What your describing is just ongoing continuous squad management and turnover.

We are openly interviewing people for a manager position that isn't even vacated and all whilst dithering about what to so with the one we have and the while press is fully aware of evething we are doing, it's farcical.
We've had the press leak Managers being sacked before they've been told and that was bad but to not even know whether you're going to keep the manager you have whilst interviewing other managers is a new low and so embarrassing.
How can ETH command anything from these players now if he's asked to stay when they all know how Ineos are likely to treat him should they down tools next season. It's irreparable.

Yep, lets take what this crap journalist said as gospel, he definitely has insights with Ten Hag, which is why he knows Mainoo cant play the 6 role, Ten Hag must have told him?
Nah, i'm not overlooking it, it's just completely irrelevant to the "yes man" debate as they'll pick someone to fit the style of play, they won't hire someone that stands for the complete opposite and then tell him to change.
I’ll take any bit of cope but you’re right I was EtH out and hopeful on Jim but now him and his INEOS pals look no different to the Glazers.“guys, let’s look indecisive - at best - and incompetent and swayed by the public at worst, to get the guys that don’t think a manager that’s presided over our worst ever prem campaign should keep his job - to rally around him”
So now “EtH outers” went from “EtH out” to “EtH out” + “These INEOS guys look shaky”.
Masterclass.
Came across this on my Twitter timeline. Not saying it’s right but given none of us have a clue, an alternative scenario….

And again you are wrong about how much we can spend. Feel free to check the source I mentionedMy point is regardless who took over, there was never a 500m spend on players. Sorting the culture, the club out takes longer.
INEOS have started that in their review which has started with the club in terms of other employees first over football staff.
Nah not close to the truth at all cause its not the negative outlook and we can't have a right moan about it.
This is just plain stupid.
ETH has a contract with the club. He has a team working for and with him. He has plans that have been developed and being developed and are being executed.
It’s nonsense to say he’s being treated as a candidate and completely ignores all the important moral, logistical and legal context of the situation.
But in between those extremes are the players that the manager thinks can fit into his needs and the ones the club want. Personal relationships, nuances, short term needs, managerial authority they all play a part. Political power in other words. And INEOS have signalled that this will lie far more with the club in future.
There are four scenarios here:
1. ETH is staying. INEOS didn't meet any other manager => Logical path.
2. ETH is staying. INEOS did meet other managers => This is not a path sensible people will take and does not reflect well upon INEOS if true.
3. ETH is leaving. INEOS didn't meet any other manager => INEOS is stupid.
4. ETH is leaving. INEOS did meet other managers => Logical path.
Going by this, I'd guess if they met with other managers, it probably means ETH has been informed already that he's going to be fired. Then why hasn't he been shown the door yet before his holiday?
Which makes me believe 1 is the most logical step and the journos don't have a clue.
I’d rather ETH than Tuchel aswell. Think you could argue we’ve had a better season than Tuchel and Bayern. We won a trophy in a harder country. They didn’t even win the German cup, let alone the league. After we decided to not go for Tuchel, which was obviously by far the best man out there, I´d hope to see commitment to Eric. And to start preparations.
Southgate, RDZ, Poch are awful options and not worth taking the risk. At all costs should the club avoid to hand one of them another 3-5 yr contract.
This is why I thought TT was a good fit but obviously not.

I do not think this is true. Chelsea never struggled to sign players and their manager changes every 2 weeks.I know one thing though, getting players to sign up with the future manager still up in the air is much harder than having a set manager.

Pretty much all the time considering that no one ever knows who will be Chelsea’s manager next month. When did Chelsea sign players when the manager was unknown?
