I do find the whole 'feel sorry for ETH' thing a bit odd. He's got a 1 year contract left and he clearly understands the pressure and responsibility that comes with it. That includes knowing that his job is under massive scrutiny because of the results this season and it's not within his say or decision to continue on or not. If we do decide to sack him, then he will rightfully get his pay off and then move on. Although he has acted very professionally throughout, don't forget it was his stubborn tactics that created a lot of the issues on the pitch that has ended up with the situation now.
If we decide to keep him, then INEOS will surely either release a statement or probably reward him with another contract, in which case, he will start pre-season afresh with his position as the manager within the club and the players very clear.
I understand feeling frustrated at the lack of clarity (although it's premature imo) but this whole, 'he deserves a clear answer now' is nonsensical. The club owes him nothing until a decision is made and that's the whole point, the most important thing is the 'correct' decision (and follow through).
