I think he means since 2000-2013 Man Utd only reached the FA Cup final 3 times (2004, 2005, 2007).

It was nice to see the hardcore ten Hag supporters finally realise he's not the man for the job. I was probably the first person on this forum to express concerns. His first transfer window was already a warning sign for me despite even else being excited it Casemiro, Antony, Eriksen, etc. I said, after the rumours of Mount starting last summer, if said rumours were true, and we end up spunking the majority of our transfer budget on him, he'll have sealed his fate.

The squad is largely comprised of Ten Hag and Ole players - with a few Mourinho artifacts that, Dalot and Rashford aside, are largely here in a limited capacity
Most managers don’t get a whole new squad within 2 or even 3 seasons. In his time here Ten Hag has had investment to reshape the squad that other managers can only dream of.

Teams mirror the coach and this shows ETH is a choke artist who panics when the pressure is high. He's losing the plot bringing up our FA cup history and the refs (finally) trying to deflect.

He didn't get them wrong, he's accused of over-playing 2 teenagers and then is savaged for taking them off with a 3 goal lead and 20 mins to go, he gets a lot of shit wrong but this wasn't a wrong decision today

This season is United’s worst ever, worse than Moyes. Not only all the losses, when we win we are NEVER convincing and win by one goal margin. His time is up now.
I don’t understand why he’s still in the job - possibly to allow him to lift the cup he’s reached the final, that’s all I can think of. But if the decision to sack him thereafter hasn’t already been made, then we’re in deep trouble. No serious club would entertain such terrible management.
Apparently there is a clause in the contract that if we don't qualify for any European competition then we can get rid of him for free or a bare minimum.

I don't think the clause is linked to only Champion League, otherwise that would've been too harsh. This applies for either Europa and CL, has been in contracts of the 2-3 previous managers. England fails to get the 5 spots for CL already, which means that we need to qualify for top 7 (if City win the FA). If we win the FA instead, we will be automatically be in the Europa.
The question of whether we qualify for the Europa doesn't impact whether Ten Hag will be sacked or not, as he will almost certainly be. If we qualify for the Europa, we get some extra income and that can be used to compensate for Ten Hag. If we don't, we get to fire him for free. We are so lucky with this and we should all feel very good.

It's always been Champions league qualification once thats become mathematically impossible Ten Hag's payout reduces significantly and hopefully that's the last we see of him atleast in United's dug out .
Yeah and the worrying thing is by the time they have we will be left with the managerial scraps left by scousers, Bayern and Barca heck even maybe Chelsea too with how Pochettino performs.
Eriksen looked much more comfortable when we were playing a more possession based style last year. The endless basketball games we are playing now exposes his lack of pace and energy at this point.
The only thing I can think is that ETH is somehow committed to working on something for the longer term. Perhaps, focusing on developing Mainoo, Garnacho and Hojlund or something and doing so knowing that the likes of Eriksen, Varane, Casemiro etc will be moved on.
We genuinely need to just park the bus though. We don’t have the legs for whatever this style is trying to be. Just sit deep, have Casemiro etc cover less distance and then try to hit on the break. Missing the quicker defenders too and having AWB at LB just means we need to play more cautiously.
The late collapses seem a clear indicator that we run of energy because of the back and forth nature of the games too. You need a young team and a full squad to do it and even then it’s prone to fatigue.
We aren’t beating those teams to a candidate anyway.
