They would be better fixing the issues top to bottom before looking at him.New owners will sack him.

Stars are only aligning ever so often.Keep. I am still yet to see him fail when he's got everything going for him.
Yes we should be playing much better with what we have, and it's concerning. However he's had to deal with so much shit, and the current injuries are the cherry on top, plus having three RW out with disciplinary issues is unheard of.
I'm fairly sure this happens as it stands.New owners will sack him.
How many other managers have full control of recruitment? Our footballing structure is still massively off other clubs.I’d sack him for his recruitment alone.
Because nobody was near themDe Zerbi and I think Gross said in their post match interviews that they struggled a bit at the start because our change of system surprised them and it was not what they had planned for. Once Brighton settled and figured it out, they started keeping the ball a lot easier.
It falls on the manager if he keeps on rewarding the lazy man-childs with starts. We saw this under Ole, he was loyal to the same group of toxic players and eventually the fans turned on him. ETH needs to be brave, drop the lazy bastards and go with the youth who will do the basics and give their all. That covers it for me. Until they're working their ass off and fighting for 90 minutes i find it hard to be critical.
He’s not going to get irate in public is heHe doesn't seem frustrated enough with the poor performances. Van gaal used to say we had played well when we had one shot on target all game.
Nah you can't blame personnel here. He put Eriksen in a role where he had to cover massive amounts of space, constantly. We all know his limitations, and he put him in a role that highlighted them. It's shit coaching. It's shit tactics. This is what he used to be good at. If he can't do that here, then replace before it's too late.
Inheriting a bad apple is not the same thing, no.Same thing. Either way I don’t think this would happen amongst the likes of GOATs such as Pep and Fergie
I’m not sure that TH is the second coming of the messiah but he’s the first manager with a possession based / high line philosophy you’ve had and it will quite obviously take time and yet more signings to get your squad comfortably versed in this new style of play.
Until that happens you’ll have your pants pulled down now and again - you should all get over it, this is how it goes and it’s a sign of progress because it’s indicative of a side going through a reset.
It seems that an awful lot of supporters on this forum can’t quite get to grips with this stunning revelation.

How dare you come on here with your common sense approach, this is no place for you.I’m not sure that TH is the second coming of the messiah but he’s the first manager with a possession based / high line philosophy you’ve had and it will quite obviously take time and yet more signings to get your squad comfortably versed in this new style of play.

How do you know if these players were first choice? Hypothetically, if ETH or any other manager gives targets for each position and club says you know what we can't negotiate for them because FFP or player has competition from better clubs, then the manager has to either pick a lower quality target which club can afford or let that position not be filled. I am not saying this is what happened, but I am just saying things are not so cut and dry. There would be many factors at play.We paid so much for these players because they were the manager's targets and he insisted on getting them.
If the club hadn't paid that much for Antony or Mount and moved on, the comments would have been "Freaking Glazers refusing to back the managers and spending money on his targets and instead giving him low cost players, Feck off Murtough".
The board backs the manager and pays crazy money for shit players because the manager asked for them by name, they get criticized, they don't, they get criticized. What are they supposed to do ?
We lack a clear strategy at the market but these signings are on the manager. He's the one who asked for them.
This club is dying, it’s a dinosaur, on its knees wilting from top to bottom and we can’t keep pinning the blame on the manager alone. ETH takes his share of the blame for on pitch performances as do the coaches and players, but its the owners, the staff, the culture, the malaise that have us performing the way we are and being the laughing stock we have become.
It’s not about work rate. It’s about not understanding when to press from which angle and how hard. That’s why we pressed unsuccessfully today. A functioning press where everyone works as a team doesn’t allow the opposition to just play around.Nah our pressing has been pretty good this season. It's not half arsed. You press to a point and you cut options. They are very good at playing out obviously. We gave them an easy out ball though which they abused.
Blaming work rate today is nonsense. It wasn't a problem. We were tactically undone and were chasing shadows.

I doubt the whole top to bottom would chance in one instance and he has more credit than most around him. He'll be one of the issues they'll have to fix, so they'll sack him along the process.
It may trickle down, I'm ready for that. When the time comes, then he'll go. Now is not that time.League cup mate, which is next to the community shield a mickey mouse cup. He would have lost against Pep, as usual.
It may sound hyperbloic now, but it will trickle down eventually to you as well. Give it time, if you dont see it now, you will soon. Just watch closely.
You’re the one that specifically mentioned discipline in the context of it being a trait that he uniquely has brought to Man Utd after his predecessors. So shouldn’t that mean things like the Sancho situation wouldn’t happen under his watch…Inheriting a bad apple is not the same thing, no.
And you clearly don't have enough knowledge about Pep or Ferguson to rule that sort of a lazy statement. Sancho didn't want to fight under Pep, was ill disciplined for dortmund and is ill disciplined under us. It's got feck all to do with Ten Hag so stop trying to claim it to be otherwise.

Exactly. This is not our normal state. Worst injury list in the league, and barely any of our new signings have been able to play. Can we at least wait until we don't have such a long list of injuries and suspensions before we start having these exhausting conversations 5 games into the season? No Varane, Shaw, Mount, Amrabat, Antony. I guarantee all of them would've featured today if they were available.
As mad as it was playing Bruno at CB, our options off the bench were Maguire or Evans - and I'm sure the caf would've loved it if either of those were subbed on when we were chasing a goal.

Yes.What credit does he have ? Winning the League Cup ?
You specifically mentioned sancho. I said ten hag inherited a bad apple. You’re the one that specifically mentioned discipline in the context of it being a trait that he uniquely has brought to Man Utd after his predecessors. Theres many facets to the reply but to save us going in circles il just say, if we can't navigate a solid point haul in all our games up to the City game, you have a right to be worried.True but it just feels so hopeless right now. How can players in a Man Utd shirt play with such lack of energy and spirit?!
