The same situation as Solskjaer going for Sancho instead of a defensive mid. Murtough is the common denominator.
 
Signs was there the first two games.. we haven't even played a serious title contender club yet.

Not going to make any knee jerk reaction at the moment, but I m just worried about the huge rebuild job for next manager if we persist with getting players that ETH.

Hojlund may be his saving grace and he comes in and absolutely smashes it.
 
who is available to actually replace him? I know it’s not all him simply because of the players lack of intelligence.
 
What's going on with attacking corners under Ole and Ten Hag, why do we leave it so open to any kind of counter so often? This is 2 minutes into the game. Relying on Rashford as last man is shocking.

100%> complete waste of a signing. He isn't even one of those "just too good to pass up" signings. He is average
 
We may still win this one, but…
Not any shape at the season start, new football system not working at all and money spent on questionable players (Mount and an injured Hojlund).
Terrible summer and it is all on him.
 
He only needs another 10 years and 1 billion like the rest of our great managers of the last 10 years. Meanwhile Ange can lose his best player and have a joke club playing well in months. But no its our club structure and owners that's stopping us being good.

Yeah that money was needed to cover his own purchases of Casemiro and Eriksen, a combined age of over a century.
 
Honestly? So all the managers that have failed here are terrible? We are rotten from the core.

sack the manager -> players start to play well -> give new and excessive contracts -> reasonable end to the season -> bring in new players -> goes to shit -> sack manager
