Anyone close to Old Trafford right now? How is the light and when will it become problematic?

Where is the Manchester rain when we need it?!

For the most part I like the players in both these teams but I cannot stand looking at Lyons face

At the stadium. Seems very bright still. Some clouds approaching but doubt it’s enough to rain.

I'm about a mile away. It is very cloudy here but those clouds are white ones. Not bright but not dark either, kinda Manchestery.

We really could have done with Root coming out this morning instead of last night... Could have made about a 2 wicket difference at this point (or he could have still gone for a duck... Either or)

That's the wicket they wanted

Oh buttler
Needed to be there until the end
Reckon Australia sweep the remaining wickets now

My memories of my 3 years during Manchester University are being permanently coated in a film of rain

Need those infamous out of nowhere Manchester rains to suddenly appear!

That's that. No way Broad, Archer and Leach can collectively last an hour and a half.

I love watching Hazlewood bowl. Closest weve had to McGrath in style.

Question, could/should we have maybe inverted the order for this innings? Or is that a overthinking it a bit?

Archer isn't lasting long here

Definitely should have had a nightwatchman for Root. I know they normally leave it to the players, but you have to question why he didn't have one.

It wouldn’t matter. The top order is as shit as the lower order.

The game was decided with the missed catches and no ball to Smith. We had no right to draw this game in all honestly, but have done fairly well to stall it considering how bad the innings started.

Archer needs to bat at 11 from now on. Cannot handle spin at all from a defensive perspective.

Starc has a brilliant yorker, this would be the time to use it.
