Ah Duckett unlucky 98 is a decent knock though only what 13 runs short of Smith
How long can they keep this short ball stuff up?

They aren't playing on traditional test match tactics though are they.
They're literally just out there having a hit.
It winds us up as fans, but they are wagering it will being them more success than failure.

One will be on the honours board, the other won't.
When the top 3 are all scoring before we get to Root I don't think we can complain too much when they get out to a dodgy shot. That's an improvement on most of the last decade.
Put the macho Bazball bullshit away and leave the fecking ball.
Just gifting them wickets... No Lyon, just let them Traveller themselves out. Factoring in as well, still 200 behind and a longer tail.

So frustrating seeing us bat well and get out to this stupidity. They need to toe the line better
Why are they playing at these short balls it’s mindless
That is really poor. We had enough warnings and he’s just done exactly the same thing to the same area again.
We’re letting them get back in out of nowhere.
They'll keep doing it until we stop playing them
England set to be a 100 behind at this point
We were playing so sensibly until they started with the short ball. Why they then felt the need to start taking absolutely everything on is beyond me. There’s playing Bazball and then there’s just being absolutely stupid.
Anyone know what the run rate has been since Pope’s wicket? Have we even hit any boundaries off pull shots to justify these wickets?
About 4 an over. They're winning the tactical battle for now. If you cancall the England approach tactical
We could score at that rate knocking a single down to fine/square leg four times an over.
