He's bowling nicely. Particularly impressive that he's been so good to the right handers. If he takes wickets throughout the series I'll be a convert but not there just yet.

Batting out the day or not... we're 85-5 in a test match. That's even worse then the Aussie's were in their first innings.

He's still got that workhorse in him. But it's only good value when you have genuine wicket takers up the other end.
Aus have to bring in Starc/Hazlewood for Siddle. You need attacking bowlers on these wickets, not hardworking donkeys.

Hard to believe Moeen used to be a batsman. He's late on everything and collapsing over to the offside.
Don't think it will be 5-0. Australia aren't that good. But it's hard to see them not retaining the Ashes.
England look a distinctly average team unless the conditions are in their favour. It's hard to get that worked up about it, given we've just won the Ashes, but you'd hope there'd be some major changes soon, starting with the decision to relieve Root of the captaincy and let him focus on his batting.
That'll be Moeen's last action for the series I think.
