The kits this Euros are very disappointing
Ah ok. Yeah that probably seems to be his thinkingI think he has on a couple of occasions but it's not gone that well. I suppose Southgate thinks he can try it in the groups (and still progress) and depending how it goes stick or ditch in the knockouts.
None of England's other midfielders are really good at setting the tempo, passing the ball around dictating play. Guess TAA has been tried to see if he can provide that, his passing abilities are definitely up there, but ideally Southgate should have tried this in games prior to the actual competition
I never said he was already that player but is being tried to be molded into that role. The other English midfielders dont have his short passing consistency, even when he has played that Inverted role so its worth tryingWhat? TAA is in no way good at setting the tempo or dictating play. He can provide progressive passes and advances well with the ball, but that's about it.

Adam Wharton does have short passing consistency and to be honest TAA doesn’tI never said he was already that player but is being tried to be molded into that role. The other English midfielders dont have his short passing consistency, even when he has played that Inverted role so its worth trying
Yes, but not as bad as that insufferable a’hole Alan Shearer. Is it me or is Bellingham an arrogant bellend? No need for that chest

I like it, a bit of attitude and he backs it up with abilityIs it me or is Bellingham an arrogant bellend? No need for that chest
Yup, since he started played the inverted RB role, especially from the middle of 22-23 season when Liverpool had no midfield to speak of. His passing profile is a lot less of those direct diagonals that he is famous forHe has a short passing consistency?
Kane, trippier, foden and TAA poor.
Everyone else pretty good and Bellingham, rice and saka have been excellent as well as guehi
We’d look a lot better with shaw and one of Wharton or mainoo in there.
Should sub foden off at HT I’d say has not influenced anything so far.
Overall pretty promising though
I think Eze would be a better option than Foden on the left. Foden seems a light weight in International Competition
Eze is the wrong profile. Kane likes dropping in the hole there. That means you need your left winger to be primarily off the ball threats in behind. Find who gives Kane as close to Son as you can. Rashford and Sterling always worked well. Sancho and foden never work there, same with grealish. Eze is a creator in between the lines. If anything someone like Gordon could do the best in the squad given Sterling and Rashford weren't called upI think Eze would be a better option than Foden on the left. So far the likes of Wharton and Mainoo havent shown to be as involved as is needed to be playing that role in a possession based side. Watching the first half Alexander Arnold hasnt proved to be eitherAdam Wharton does have short passing consistency and to be honest TAA doesn’t

I hear you but I think England is way too predictable in attack and are really poor at controlling game by varying tempo when in possession. Eze adds that in my opinion.Eze is the wrong profile. Only so much you can do with a selection when it's a manager/coaching issue. With what Southgate can do, his best plan would've been to go with that threat in behind to stretch back lines and give Kane more space and the option to play the pass in behind.I hear you but I think England is way too predictable in attack and are really poor at controlling game by varying tempo when in possession. Each to their own I guess. Not for me.I like it, a bit of attitude and he backs it up with ability
