How about..our players werent in form. We didnt play well. England played brilliant cricket, flintoff played out of his skin..

The most surprised people are us Pakistanis about how well Pakistan have performed with the bat. We all know we can bowl alright, but in all three tests our batting has been good to superb. Wish that was the case in Karachi last time England were here...I still haven't got over that, and neither had the Pakistani team. :( Until now. :D
 
People here are calling for Vaughan's head, which is ridiculous, though he needs to start scoring runs. This series was won and lost on the fifth day of the first test. Thems the margins.
 
Personally, my opinion is the series was lost by England in their first innings of the third match. Margins are margins, they were even smaller in the Ashes.

If England had scored more heavily in the first innings, it would probably be a draw, which it might be anyway.

On the other hand, Jones was never out. How could the umpire miss an inside edge like that?
 
Got to say, that was an amazing bowling performance by Pakistan. Without doubt one the best I've ever seen, considering the pitch had nothing in at all. No pace, no lateral movement. Nothing. Shoaib in particular was awesome. What a slower ball.

Oh well.
 
It was a googly. He made it look amazing by not picking it and trying to play it too late.
 
Not easy to pick though are they. It's not like getting castled by a straight delivery. Which incidentally, Vaughan has been guilty of throughout the last few months.
