ENG v P'STAN 3rd TEST!

cnuts.

Still a series loss might bring us back down to earth.

Against anyone other than these cnuts though.

Did anyone just see Bob Willis' incredibly embarrasing improptu play to the camera?

You had to see it to get it but Bob Willis turned to the camera and made an attempted humous comment about how he was better than Botham which was cringingly unfunny and terribly delivered.

He's a right boring cnut.

Willis was a bit before my time, but Botham was class

Thyey could both have done with a decent haircut mind...

I saw Botham in his last ODI against us in Manchester in 1992...you cnuts won the series 4-1...some old bastard called Robin Hood played well

I like the look of Plunkett.

Not in a gay sense.

Yeah, he has a good action and on a better pitch could get some away swing.

How tall is he?

Looks a better bet than Anderson that's for sure.

Flintoff had a good LBW shout with a crafty slower ball not given this morning, if that helps.

Going down leg. Enough doubt to give the batsman the benefit (which surprisingly we got in our favour!). But point noted.

Was a good bowler at his peak was Willis.

And yeah I like the look of Plunkett too. Got the ball to nip away a touch. Beat the bat a few times.

Nice ground that by the way. Huge outfield, but they've made the boundaries pretty short.

Plunkett looks like he can still learn a few things, but he's got all the time to become a good bowler.

I think England shot themselves in the foot this morning by trying to bounce Shoaib out of his wicket. Ensured fewer balls were actually aimed at the stumps or the legs, therefore less chance of being out.

The first hour of any session should always be dedicated to trying to hit the stumps or swinging out to slips. Even on a batsmen friendly pitch like Lahore. Bouncing the ball to Shoaib's forearms was never going to get him out and I'm grateful England totally messed that tactic up. Pakistan batting and morning sessions don't go well together. England made the job easier for us by playing into our hands - literally as well as metaphorically.

I predicted Pakistan would lead by around 70. Can't believe what's happened. We're totally out of the game. And could end up losing. Unlike Multan there'll be enough time for their bowlers to get through our batting.

Possible 250-300 Pakistan lead on the cards.

160 lead already, should be looking to make it to 240/250 panic-free by lunch tomorrow. Another hour after lunch should see us to 300 by which time it would be prudent to declare. All depends how much Muhammad and Kamran let their guards down tomorrow though. Thankfully we've still got our best batsman to come.

That's one of England's worst day for a couple of years, save for the odd batting collapse.

We really should have stuck with my threads.

Birds.

England coach has said in a press conference that the team are mentally tired from spending a lot of time in 5 star hotels, moaner, many people in the world would be privileged to be in the teams situation.

I had high hopes for this tour, but honestly we've been shite bar a couple of sessions.

Pakistan have played as well as i've ever seen them mind.

I must admit I too am shocked at how good our batting has been in this test, especially considering a few of the regulars aint playing

We got lucky in the first test but a 3-0 series whitewash wasnt really that far away to be frank...especially given how many overs have been lost due to bad light

Amazing, we're batting on the last day to save the game again, even though we won the toss and batted first.

They've be top drawer though. Credit where it's due.

Dunno about that, we only lost the first test by a hand full of runs.

I agree (as i said we got lucky in first test but bowled well when you guys were under pressure) it would have been harsh on you lot, but it wasnt totally out of the queestion

I think the experience will do you good, and puts you in good stead to give India a run for their money...all winning streaks have to come to an end someday and you should be proud of your boys it lasted this long to be honest!

Pakistan have been simply superb, didn't expect them to do this well.

England will have to improve their batting if they are to do well against india.

If we'd have won the first test as we should have, it might all have been very different. We're still better than the Aussies.
