Eminem

Megan Fox To Film Eminem, Rihanna Video Cameo Thursday

From shots taken at the "Love the Way You Lie" music video shoot, we know that Rihanna and Eminem are burning down the house in the clip. And according to E! News, Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan will be burning up the bedroom in the steamy clip.

The video's couple, reportedly played by Monaghan and Fox, will be on-set Thursday and Friday. "Things start off with a sex scene between Megan and Dominic," a source tells E! Online about the "gritty" video. "Then they fight but end up having sex again."

The relationship between the pair will reportedly also have "lots of passion." Sources say it will play out the way Eminem's relationship with ex-wife Kim played out in real life. While some photos show Rihanna standing in hot pants and a tank top and leather jacket in front of a burning house, reports also say that Eminem "was later seen ... performing together with Rihanna in front of the burning house."

And while on set Wednesday, where photos of the shoot leaked to the media, the video's director, Joseph Kahn, took to Twitter to express his frustration with the photographers who were taking pictures of the video shoot. "Paparazzi, stop trying to ruin my shots," he wrote. "Thank you."

No word yet on when the video will be released, and Fox's cameo in the clip has yet to be confirmed. However, Kahn tweeted about Monaghan's appearance in what is turning out to be a very fiery clip. "First choice: Charlie from Lost. Dom, let's do this," he wrote.

I can't stand his new album. I'm sorry. I realize a lot of people love it, some regard it as a classic, but each to their own right? But apart from a load of unreleased and rare songs, and the occasional understated track throughout his first two albums (major releases anyway) I just can't listen to him anymore. I made the mistake of listening to 'Infinite' again, which is in such a stark contrast to just about everything else he's ever done, it makes me hate him.

How can an artist, who makes that sort of album, go on to have Eminem's career?

What are the general thoughts on 'infinite' compared to the rest?

Loved SSLP everything he's done since has been got worse and worse (odd tracks excepted) to the point that i reckon Spacebound is the single worst commercial hiphop track ever released

Eminem has stopped doing what he's good at, being witty and controversial, and focussed on doing what has sold well for him, soft rock and emo bullshit

he never spits on anything with a beat anymore some of his old ruckus stuff was great

Hectic, I agree regarding Infinite but he peaked with the Marshal Mathers LP. I would consider that album as culturally and significantly important.

Infinite was another level though. Production, lyrically and even feature wise. I don't like listening to the album, which is strange, because it is exceptional.

I know what you mean about the MM LP but for me, nothing he has done since Infinite, has really been on that level. Posters might quote tracks or albums at me, but for me personally, that album was Eminem at his very peak.

I would love to hear his take on the infinite album. I wonder if he would even recognize himself. So, I'll go back and fire up Infinite for the next few months, you can have Recovery for as long as you want.

I doubt he would recognize himself, it's quite obvious how fecked the prescription pills have made him, he fell into the trap of being a caricature of himself. I hold the MM LP in such high esteem partially because it reminds me of being 11 and in my last year of primary school. Then Until The End of Time came out, opening hip-hop to me in a new way.

I need to relisten to Infinite it's been literally years.

313, Open Mic, Never Far, Searchin, Infinite and It's Okay.

I can't think of another track he's made that can rival those. The albums incredible.

I hadn't listened to it for at least two years since the other day.

Open Mic..."Who the feck passed you the mic?!"

Amazing track, love the beat behind it too. Alright, gotta listen to it all now. It's actually like two different people in fairness.

My problem now-a-days is comparing everything I hear in hip-hop to one of The Blueprint or All Eyez on Me et al.

The production on Infinite is appalling though...It sounds like it was made underwater.

I agree his lyrics are better than on almost everything he's done since bar Lose Yourself, but I'm not sure the delivery is. He sounds like he's just reading it at times.

It's definitely worth a listen though

Just to pick your brains for a sercond, what do you think about Outkast?

The sound quality is appauling, the actual production is outstanding. I wish he had those kind of beats throughout his career, but he went off in a different direction.

It was originally a demo tape and then it was re-mastered, only, not.

I'm pretty sure his problem was he starting thinking he could make beats...but he really couldn't.

Lyrically it was very impressive...especially for 1996, or whatever it was

I'm pretty sure Eminem didn't produce a single track of 'Infinite'.

It was mostly Denaun Porter, DJ Head and co-production from The Bass Brothers.

Several songs were uncredited as well.

The major problem was it was only released on tape, and then a very limited about of vinyl copies.

I meant later career...post Dre..When it all started to fall down...and he started singing

Though to be fair I think his best "height of fame" beats where ones he guest spotted on...He used some very oddly childish beats for a lot of the Slim Shady era under Dre...but they were still better than most of his efforts

I read Ronin Ro's biography of Dr. Dre while on vacation.

I got the impression that Eminem really isn't into the rap game anymore and hasn't been for some time.

That makes more sense.

I agree. Oddly childish is a good term for that period of his career. I think it was more then the beats though, his lyrics and general flow were just as bad.

MMLP was his peak, almost every track is perfection, he can never top that, not ever

Infinite isn't even that great, there's alot of nonsense lyrics, he sounds like a wanabe Nas, somebody who is yet to find his own identity

I think the structure of some of his verses on Recovery are up there with anything he has done before. Thing is he has tracks sprinkled throughout all albums that are on point when it comes to flow and delivery.

Recovery is a very good album, and lyrically he's on point in almost every track. I don't think the beats are anywhere near as good as Relapse, but as songs, I can listen and enjoy Recovery more than the Relapse tracks.

I'm hoping he does a few songs with Slaughterhouse either as a mixtape or for their next album.

The production on Relapse is great, 95% Dr. Dre I believe?, and I honestly prefer it over Recovery. It isn't better lyrically, clearly Recovery is much deeper.

I love the humor on Relapse. Recovery is great, but I need to be in a depressed mood to listen to it

Good video, better than I thought it would be.
