Mohg's second phase is so nasty.

EDIT: Ok I'm gonna post on redcafe from now on cause I just wrecked him before he could even get to it there first time after.

The archer riding the wolf in the consecrated snowfields is my new nemesis. Guy has no chill.

At the final boss now. Just got the dragon in Crumbling Farum left to do before that who is being a real bastard. Doesn't help that there is no checkpoint or grace near the thing.

The dragonlord one with the two heads? There is a grace nearby where you take the elevator down, kill three enemies and you're basically(a few jumps) there.

Yeah not close enough for me. It's still annoying having the do the jumps and get to the area every time.

Finally downed Godrick, fecking Bloodhound Knight muppet is worse.....getting so pissed off....almost threw my laptop across the room.

When was this? I got fed up trying and failing to kill him over a week ago and went back to returnal for some light masochistic relief.

It's only because I was able to beat him fair and square in Ng and Ng+ after they patched the glitch. Before that I couldn't but maybe it's because I learned his moveset better I dunno. He's been a game breaker for a long time.

A paltry 30k runes for killing that ulcerated tree spirit in the Haligtree ffs. Granted I cheesed by shooting arrows from where it couldn’t reach me but I get around 50k just for killing all those soldiers in the previous area.

What level are you?

Tbh from the Haligtree I stopped bothering about runes and just played through.

If you've gotten to Mohg's palace, there's a really good rune farming bit there if you need to level up in a pinch.

136 I think  is that high? I like to be prepared.

Yeah you're fine

You're at the final and very brutal stretch of the game. At this point I wouldn't worry about runes or fighting every possible enemy. The main bosses you drop here on out also drop a shit ton, so you're good.

I think you can find him in a separate arena. I killed him at his first appearance and then he reappeared

You cannot tell me Malenia doesn’t have input read  what a joke.

Thought I was great hammering Malenia's first phase on my first go and then her second phase absolutely wrecked me :( I'll try again tomorrow.

I saw all the posts and thought she can’t be that bad. Nope. Went and killed Rykard instead.

Maybe it was beginners luck but her first phase was quite easy. But she didn’t do that flurry attack I’ve heard is horrible.

2nd phase was brutal though, could barely move without being thrashed and given rot

The flurry attack is insane. Killed me every time and it feels impossible to fully dodge as she attacks 3 times.

Finally got around to playing it tonight. Right off the bat got Breath Of the Wild vibes in terms of art style but it's probably the best open world game I've played since TW3. Unable to put the controller down. Has anyone used the grave scythe weapon? Seems very overpowered so have gone with that with the confessor class. Learning some spells too.

Feel like maybe I should’ve gone to Farum Azula sooner. I’m smashing everything including the dragon.

My issue with these bosses is that I'm the Harry Maguire of Elden Ring.....I panic too much and try to spawn spin and throws my timing off. Got that cnut Bloodhound Knight down to barely any health last night but fecked up at the very end. Game makes me furious but still a fun play.

Has anyone managed to beat the black blade kindred outside the Bestial Sanctum. I have beaten other versions of this enemy included one where you have to fight 2 of them. But this guy wrecks me every time

he's way too tough at the level you first go there, I think I had to come back later on and he wasn't too bad then, but he is still one of the tougher bosses.

There's more than one dragon in there. Including one that is harder and very easy to miss. I only found out about it when I decided to go through an online list of bosses before attempting the final boss.

Where the feck are the grace sites in the capital? A seemingly never ending gauntlet of enemies, most of whom seem to be able to one shot me.

Yes! Bet Malenia.

I didn't find the first phase too bad once I'd figured out how to regularly dodge the flurry attack. I'd say by the end I was beating it every 2 out of 3 attempts.

2nd phase is so rough though and you really need a bit of luck with whatever moves she uses to get her. Luckily she did that pummel into the ground twice so I just spammed the shit out of the rivers of blood during that and she never got to use any of her devastating attacks then. Took maybe 20-25 goes overall I'd say.

Yeah I think I’ve killed three now. Stopped last night after I got stuck at the Tree Sentinel before what I assume is the final boss.

Run up behind, hit him, run back into the church and crouch behind a pillar. Wait til he de-aggros. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah, I was saying the exact same thing about this place a few days ago. I had this trouble when I was there. Kept dying than being sent back to the beginning of the area. There are one or two there, but they're easy to miss. I didn't like that area much. I just found myself running through it looking for grace points and not properly exploring. Couldn't wait to get out of there, to be honest.

I did try that but lost patience and he still somehow wrecks me with his shout type roar move even if I’m at the back of the church.. But yes I think I might try that again

Also tried to cheese him off the cliff as I noticed other folks got him that way but these things never work for me
