Bloody hell..Jenna's let herself go, by the look of that photo.
EDIT: Oh, the names are in the wrong places.
SameRewatching Series 3 right now, I miss the old crew. Not just the Tenth Doctor, but the supporting cast that had built around him starting from Eccleston's time, everyone from Martha to Captain Jack to Mickie right.

So I finally decided to get into this when I saw a new series starting soon. I always thought it would be something I would like but just never bothered because it seemed a bit too kiddy and the cheapness of the effects. I've decided to look past that and I'm enjoying it so far though some it can be a bit hit and miss at times. Decided to start from when David Tennant became the doctor because Christopher Eccleston just doesn't appeal to me, or is that mistake and his stuff worth watching?

Same, that said, Matt Smith was a good doctor and actor, just the writing let him down. I wonder if things will be different under Capaldi, not that I have big expectations.
Series 3 is my favourite one, without a doubt. Cpt.Jack is such a goofy companion to have around, and Marth trying to impress the Doctor after his heart broke of Rose. Then we have Harold Saxon, that was a good story arc.
Just a pity he only did it for one season, I agree he was excellent, but still for me Tennent is Dr Who, even better than the ones form my childhood.Eccleston's my favorite doctor by far. He was the first one I saw and I was at an age where this kind of crap is absolutely perfect. Matt Smith is the best doctor though, he didn't have the best stories but his mannerism and acting is the best portrayal of a very old, clever alien with cool gadgets and technology, but sadly I was a bit too grown up during his tenure to really enjoy it. I thought Tennant was just playing a clever, overly-emotional man rather than the doctor.
That said, I've seen very few of the older episodes. But the ones I did see were crap and often badly made.

Stand out EP's for me are The Girl in the Fireplace and the 2 part Satan Pit both outstanding.
I've been doing so lately.I think I can feel a monster Dr Who re-watch coming on.
I have just started now, first Eccleston EP.I've been doing so lately.
Just rewatched the Human Nature and Family Of Blood two-parter, brilliant story. Joan telling The Doctor to leave, then crying while clutching the Journal Of Impossible Things, brutal. Great television. These episodes also have my single favourite description of The Doctor in the whole new series:
"He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the centre of time, and he can see the turn of the universe.
And... he's wonderful."
OH god no he was dreadful. The Dr Who fan in my house says Peter Davison is her favourite doctor.

Ask her why ffs

Eccleston's season has some great episodes, but it's really uneven as a whole. If you don't want to watch them all, I suggest just hitting up these:
Rose - Mainly because it's the new series finale, first appearance of Rose and Mickie, but it's not a great episode).
The End Of The World - Establishes The Doctor's character (fun loving but ruthless when angered) and Rose's view of him. Also introduces the "last of the Time Lords" aspect.
Dalek - Reintroduces the Daleks. Eccleston's acting in top notch in this one.
Father's Day - My favourite Series 1 episode, introduces Pete Tyler in an emotional story.
The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances - Great two parter, dark but still has sprinkles of Moffat humour throughout. Introduces Captain Jack.
Bad World/The Parting Of Ways - Decent finale, second part is better than the first. Regeneration scene is well done too in my opinion.

I'll check these out, though I did see Rose when it first aired. I remember being bored as hell watching which is why I never continued with it.
Also pretty disappointed to see the comments about the writing during Matt Smith's time as the doctor. I've seen clips like the one in the kitchen with all the food and was really looking forward to those episodes as he seemed like someone I'd enjoy watching.
Oh and another complaint I have is the sometimes terrible acting in some of the episodes. You can look over it sometimes but I pretty much passed over the episodes with the cybermen because the guy in the wheel chair was absolutely atrocious. You'd also think that a show this popular would get better directors in.
Capaldi’s debut series is one continuous run and not split. 12 EPs plus a Christmas special.
on season 3 now, not my fav , some weak EP's in it, but just watching the 2 part, about the Family Blood , forgot how good they are.
