Melodramatic, attention seeking space-attacker
beautiful goal, the whole ran towards him to celebrate, a great show of unity and team spirit
Cool goal. There was a moment where I thought he should have played it to Chicha but tbh he did well. When we needed to keep the ball he was ideal

Thought he looked poor today apart from the goal. Same old I'm afraid.

He's just given a quality interview to SSN
Came across very very well
He wasnt that good, but he took his goal very well and hopefully scoring against the double winners will give him a lot of confidence.
That's how he is. Just see his comments on Valencia(Antonio) whenever the topic comes up.Does it hurt to just say, Berbatov done well without having to add a negative slant to it.
This place is truly and well fecked up...
In his case it burns like napalm.Does it hurt to just say, Berbatov done well without having to add a negative slant to it.

Wum?
Why? I agree with him and I'm not a Berba-basher, I'm a fan. He was awful at retaining the ball and kept surrendering possesion cheaply near the half-way line when he had options for an easy pass.
He wasn't awful by any stretch, but he has played far better for us than today - although it was a cracking goal.

I think that's because Berbatov has to do both. If he doesn't impress generally but score, people are unhappy. If he scores but plays unimpressively, people are unhappy too. Berbatov is thought to score too little, and especially against "big" teams. Today he did, although in a pre-season game. So when the "huzzah for Berbatov"s are met with "meh", I'll have to side with the former. Why? I agree with him and I'm not a Berba-basher, I'm a fan. Berba
Excellent play this pre-season, I just hope he kicks-in and continues this season...and if he does, he'll be extremely important. He seems a different player with a different attitute even too so far, and long may it continue
