Season 4 was by far the best for me, which is saying something given how much I liked the rest of them. Arthur Mitchell is some actor.
Still cracks me up, I still wonder to this day if that was intended to make us laugh or not. I assume not.And yes, season 4 is the best of the lot, Uncle Junior is the first person I've heard say that it isn't.

Just finished season 4 tonight, thought it was brilliant but saw the ending coming to be honest.

I'm watching season 3 on FX, so not going through this thread for fear of spoliers!
Really enjoyed season 2, although it wasn't as good as season 1.
And on the subject of season 2, I'm certain I saw Lila in Chester city centre last week. If it wasn't her then it must have been her doppleganger!

I won't be watching any teaser trailers, I hate the 'coming next week' things they sometimes have too, I never want to know what's going to happen; what's the point?!

Well, it was obviously going to happen again. I mean, seriously, it had to!
this is nothing like the previous time anyway, for starters he has lost his wife and is left with 3 kids. Secondly there is a lot more evidence to back a case against him, and the guy chasing him is white.
Plus the fact he didnt do it and his home life, which he could hide behind before is now... Well fecked.
Seriously though, this will be the 5th season. For 5 seasons he's been going around killing loads of people. People being suspicious of him and checking on him is surely something that would be a regular occurance, especially with him having a family and kids to look after. Like with the trailer, people are going to notice he's not around and think its weird.

Just finished season 4. Best season since the first one. Didnt really enjoy season 3, although that's probably because my idiot friend ruined the ending for me.

First season was the best...clearly...It was the first season. But this last one is easily the best since it, and runs it close overall and betters it in many facets (the ending was better than the 1st season for one)
Lithgow was better than the Ice Truck Killer but the ITK crimes were better, and Dexters fascination with them were more interesting. Quinn isn't as good as Doakes (though they're both completely uninvolving) and I still can't stand Deb....At least in the first season she was a shit police woman getting help from her brother and clearly just perceived as such..now she's a detective?...I mean come on. She's the shittest, most unbelievable police person, let alone detective, ever put on screen...and I'm including Inspectors Clouseau and Gadget in that. Every scene she's ever in I end up shouting at the screen. I wouldn't put this woman in charge of fetching me towels let alone murder investigations....She'd probably break down at how fluffy and absorbant the towels were and cry for 20 minutes before sleeping with an inappropriate person for no apparent reason before crying again because she doesn't have any tits.

But I love Deb. She has become a policewoman to make her dad happy, whether she is suited to it or not doesn't matter to her and I don't know about you but I know plenty of inept people who do ok in the workplace.
I like Deb too, think she's a good character. I also liked Doakes. Agree about Quinn though I don't like him.
