How the feck he keeps escaping cards for all his diving! that's crazy! he should play for barcelona!
Qft. Despicable. How the feck he keeps escaping cards for all his diving! that's crazy! he should play for barcelona!
Oh sure. Like I said lot of Glastons.
He definitely is one of the best young players in his position in the world. His stats back that up.100%. Show me another player 21 or under with better stats than Alli the past 3 seasons? Since he burst on to the scene people have been desperate to pull him down.
He's absolutely class.
I think he is a C U next Tuesday but I don't think he dived yesterday.
Maybe when, he immediately rolled over and threw his arms up to the ref, he was screaming "it's not a penalty Sir, I just jumped over him to avoid an impending injury"it is a dive but I do at least think he's scared of getting hurt there
A dive is a dive but still I have noticed that many Spurs fans don't wanna admit that he's a cheat.
There are plenty of us who see it, what amazes me is the fact most teams have players that do it but don't want to admit it .
I'm struggling to think of anyone in the league that dives as much as Dele Alli does though.
It feels like every week he's trying to con the ref.
Morata should be a good shout. The slightest touch and he's on the ground.

I'd take McTominay all day over Ali.

I agree hes at it a lot, and its starting to cost him, the first one was a penalty and wasn't given.
So if England head off to a world cup right now, who do you play behind the striker, Alli or Lingard?
I'd take McTominay all day over Ali.
Alli every day of the week. Not to mention the fact that Alli and Kane actually play together in the same club side so that chemistry is invaluable.
Yes, he has not hit the heights of the last two seasons but he is a young footballer and they always have a season early on in their careers when they drop off a little bit. Let's not forget it was only last season he had over 20 PL goals.
There is none operating to his levels of consistency in terms of cheating. What most Spurs fans do often is deflect by saying exactly what you did, that other teamd have them too. Like in some way, it should excuse that from him. There are plenty of us who see it, what amazes me is the fact most teams have players that do it but don't want to admit it .

He doesn't get singled out though. That is your impression, there are plenty of divers around. Alli is one the most consistent one and this is his thread so of course other players won't be mentioned. No Im saying he needs to cut it out big time, also many on here said the first foul was a dive when it clearly wasn't. As for bringing up other players and teams I think its just reality, it doesn't excuse it but singling out one player without looking at football as a whole is nonsensical, perspective is needed to have a fair debate.
