The guy who plays him is a Liverpool fan. I know Deadpool is crazy, but feckin' stupid as well?
Don't speakYeah it's definitely one of those films that just nail what they've gone for. Really enjoyed it from start to finish without any lulls.
Will give it a few week and watch again no doubt
It's the baddie who is a Liverpool fan IRL.
RyRey is probably a United fan now, after the advertising promo, dreaming of playing for United and kissing Wayne Rooney.
feck!!! I was gonna watch this today and my wife has just lost her Cineworld Unlimited card. We havent used the card in months and were finally about to and she loses it. Will take a week to get a new one![]()
Now there's a first world problem if ever I saw one
Thoughts and prayers with you @Dirty Schwein
Watched it yesterday with my girl and it was great fun. 8/10
I hope the hardcore fans will look past the new origins story
there's a few different origin stories though aren't there? Part of the madness of the character and never knowing what's real or just in his mad head
Biggest Friday opening ever for an R rated movie and on track for a massive, potentially record breaking opening weekend. This could be a complete game changer in terms of R rated superhero movies.
For reference Disney had nothing to do with it as it's 20th Century Fox property.Loved it... Great Disney didn't water it down for kids.. 9/10
Ok I just thought as Disney own Marvel it was owned by them but as you said they seem to have sold it before Marvel studios came to be. Like Spiderman, X-Men, Silver surfer and F4 and others..I enjoyed it for what it was but the budgetary limitations shone through more than I would have liked. It's doing really well at the box office though so I imagine the inevitable sequel will be infinitely better.

I think they've actually got the rights to Spiderman again now, didn't the deal expire recently?Ok I just thought as Disney own Marvel it was owned by them but as you said they seem to have sold it before Marvel studios came to be. Like Spiderman, X-Men, Silver surfer and F4 and others..
No Sony wanted to use Marvels movies popularity to add to Spidey's popularity.. So it's joint holding now..I think they've actually got the rights to Spiderman again now, didn't the deal expire recently?
Yup, Deadpool falls into the X-Men universe which is owned by Fox along with the Fantastic 4.Ok I just thought as Disney own Marvel it was owned by them but as you said they seem to have sold it before Marvel studios came to be. Like Spiderman, X-Men, Silver surfer and F4 and others..
They haven't got the rights back per se - Amazing Spider-Man and Amazing Spider-Man 2's relatively mediocre box office numbers forced Sony execs to accept that they couldn't really compete with Marvel Studios so they entered an agreement where they share the character. It effectively allows Marvel can integrate Spider-Man into their cinematic universe for storytelling purposes while Sony profit from the increased exposure with this new MCU Spider-Man's individual films. It's a win-win.I think they've actually got the rights to Spiderman again now, didn't the deal expire recently?
That's got to be an improvement on the Sony versions at least. No Sony wanted to use Marvels movies popularity to add to Spidey's popularity.. So it's joint holding now..

Amazed at the sea of positivity. Only film I've ever seriously thought about walking out of. Had my coat half on during the last scenes. Pure muck. Childish, 12 year old humour.
