That midfield Arnold, Rice and Bellingham is so poor defensively that it would surpise me if Serbia lose that battle. One can't defend, one can only pass sideway and one have no clue what positioning is.

He’s probably only playing him there because he did well at Liverpool playing there. But having good players round him probably helps hide his deficiencies.

We need him for the CL. I think he wants to stay one more year because of that and because he loves living here. I think he will move after next year.

People have been questioning both since the squad was announced and there's nothing internet people like to do more than say "I told you so", even if they are talking out of their arses.
Why are we forcing a second rate right back into midfield when we could play Wharton or Mainoo there, or drop Bellingham in there and play Palmer as a 10.

Same. I'm not sure where this big push for him to play midfield has come from? He doesn't play there for Liverpool. I know he likes to drift in from RB, but that's completely different to actually starting there.
He's a defensive liability in a position he plays every week. What's he gonna be like in a position he's brand new to?

TAA in midfield should be fine in the groups providing Rice is the anchor form of himself and not the Arsenal version who has Been a little more attacking minded.
